LSU's exhibition routines were honestly the highlights of the meet. K. Ryan with a superb stuck 1.5 vault. Alyona and Dunne had beautiful beam sets. I LOVE Sierra Ballard floor routine. Haleigh Bryant is amazing as always. LSU really showed off their depth today (outside of bars). Speaking of bars, where is Arenas? Thats her best event...
@@walkingcarpet420 I agree 100% - I’m sure their program is one of the most funded in the NCAA and I just really expect more out rhinestones out of their leos. I love the back cutouts this season from most teams though!
Great meet to watch between LSU and Georgia. Congratulations to LSU legend DD Breaux on her historic 43 season career with the Tigers, and now the team’s reigns are in the very capable hands of Mr. Jay Clark. I’m happy for both of these coaches. And I’m also just excited for the season of GYMNASTICS to take place! Thank the Lord.
They inflate the top of the floor lineup then shaft Haleigh Bryant lol. She had the 4th highest floor score for LSU. These judges have lost their minds
I remember a couple of years ago watching an elite meet on the World Gymnastics circuit and both Olivia Dunn and Haleigh Bryant were competing. And the announcers at the end were talking to them about their hopes for the NCAA and they both talked about how they were so excited to be committed to attend LSU together. Fun to remember it and see them both.
Honestly Haleigh Bryant may as well do a front handspring layout half on vault lol. Basically what she does most of it isn't piked. Could probably do the Chusovitina LOL the front handspring Rudi on vault.

Kudos to the production team and the announcers for ACTUALLY ALLOWING the audience to see the scores of the final performers in the rotation! Also love that they show the team rankings and average scores for us to see. Thank you!!!

Is this a monumental win for LSU over Georgia? In the beginning the commentator mentioned a run with Dee-Dee with consecutive wins. Either way, congrats LSU!! I've seen your team grow so much over the past few years!
The comment that the announcer made about the young woman putting on a mask and winning a dancing contest...I can't be the only one who was uncomfortable with that remark ...🤐
Ok, no. Both of these announcers are blatantly racist. When Soraya Hawthorne came on beam they didn't say her name and talked about the white gymnast before her through her entire routine
It was inelegant but hardly a major offense... he was referring to that television show called the Masked Dancer. (Apparently it makes the show more exciting when the judges don't know who they are actually judging.)
@@undefinedd1147 He did say Soraya's name right after her dismount. He also said during the replay of her routine that she was fun to watch and impressive. Hard to see any racism in that.... Also interesting to see that she is the one who inherited the Moon Walk from Sabrina Vega. She does it well. (Each year someone on the Georgia team does it on beam.)
Jay Clark pulling his mask DOWN to talk to his group of gymnasts, then putting it back on when he's done... makes me f--ing sick. He ignores COVID protocols constantly and clearly no one is holding him to any standard. He should be fined, or FIRED.

LSU consistently have some of the best looking leos in the game, these ones look great!
