I have the PH9.0XT with upgraded umbilical cable and it's hard to believe it can get much better than this! One thing to note that I don't think was mentioned - you can buy the 9.0 or 9.0X and purchase upgrades at a later time and just send the unit and/or power supply in to them. Uncommon to find companies and gear options that have this upgrade path, and the cost is the same minus back and forth shipping costs later.
You can absolutely buy a PH 9.0 and upgrade to the X and T upgrade at any time. The cost is the same to upgrade over time vs buying it new with upgrades.
I have the XT version with the upgraded umbilical and have rolled Telefunken inside and RCA in the power supply, and guess what? It doesn’t sound like anything. Just music, glorious music. If you are interested, call and talk to Kristin. She is the best.

PH9.0 is a great phono stage for the money. Definitely my favorite Modwright product.
I agree. I recently had my PH 9.0X upgraded to the XT. Easy to adjust on the fly and I love trying out new rectifier tubes.
