Why would you want to watch 'normal' Telly when you've got hours of superb content like this, from Nick?
You're very kind! 🙂
I am rarely more quietly content than when I am watching Aquaholic boat tours on TH-cam.
Spot on old boy
I like simple layouts.
Nick, thank you for the tour. You're the coolest dude on youtube.
You're very kind! 🙂
Spring or Autum evenings with the roof open. An unwanted, heathy breeze arrives and a flood of interior light escapes, advertising "we're HERE". Solution - pull the cover across the open roof allowing ventilation and a bit more privacy.
Nice boat with just enough amenities for comfort and conveinience without crowding the spaces. Thanks, Nick and Linssen Yachts for the tour.
What a fantastic little boat. Simple, spacious, very well designed. I like that a lot
Great tour Nick, thanks.
Perfect river boat for a couple from the looks of things. Minimal maintenance and running costs, with everything you need for a week of more afloat.
Glad you enjoyed it 🙂
Nick, as ever loving your channel... but when you review a Linssen I love it even more.. I have a similar model Linssen Sedan SL... We bought it last year after years of searching. It is an outstanding piece of kit, so robust, ergnomically correct and a lovely place to be. What I can say, on the Thames, it attracts a lot of attention and endless compliments from other boaters. You did miss the drawer with all the branded glasses. Great video thank you... You are doing a superb job Nick.. and I know things haven't been so easy for you recently .. hold the line... it will be ok. All the very best A
Hello from France, i love that, it's top for the France 🇫🇷. The second version with two cabins is really cool, and i prefer. Thank lot for a visit. Bye
A good sturdy piece of kit with everything needed for the weekend voyage along the river. Excellent! 🍷 Thank you.
My pleasure!
Nice simple boat nick very good for what it was built for
I love this honest little boat. It's brilliant. I prefer it to some super yachts for sure. I wish I got into yachting years ago. If I had I'd have bought myself this.
Fantastic practical fun, she's a great vessel Nick.... It's my pensioner live aboard fantasy. Love the basics 👍🫡 I'd go for the double 👍
I hope you can get us a look at the aft cabin as well. Both would be great candidates for the great loop. Thanks for what you do.
My pleasure!
A real handsome boat, I'd love to see the aft cabin version someday.
I love that! Super simple, but solidly built and classy.
WHAT a absolutely lovely little boat for a couple or small family
That is a nice little boat, I was going to ask could it cross the Channel but then anyone in an inflatable seems to do it nowadays so a steel built little boat like this would have no problem! Exploring the canals of France in this would be bliss! Excellent Nick!
Lovely boat, I'd fill up those voids with food and drink and take off with me and my cat for a few months.
Solid, practical boat perfect for a great time. Loved this tour.
‘Grand Sturdy’, just like you Nick. Always a smile when a new post arrives. Thanks as always 😊👍
My pleasure!
The aft cabin version seems really smart. It is great to have a full beam cabin with a bed that accepts standard mats.
Ever since you showed one of their Variotop models, some time back, I've been a big fan of Linssen. Thanks for another tour, Nick!
My pleasure!
Love the simplicity. Thanks again.
Thanks for watching!
That is a lovely little boat, nice finishes throughout and well built. Nice tour Nick thank you.
Our pleasure!
Nice simple boating solution for the not so rich people 😀 Thanks for the tour 😊
My pleasure!
Watching your videos Nick is like tuning in to an old friend, we know the boats and presentations are always going to be great
Thank you 🙂
Very nice boat!
Nick, great inland canal/river boat. Outstanding under floor storage that you can stock up once for the whole(?) summer with non perishable goods. Cheers DougT
The definition of term puttering about - very nice
It's a boat like we are in the Netherlands. Keep it simple, keep it safe and don't put any bling bling on it. Efficiency is wat we most like 😉
Nice video as always, Nick.
Thank you!
I love the library on the lower deck 😇
Tastefully lit even!
Thats a very neat one, thanks for showing.
Thanks for watching!
Currently on the med working on my 36ft jeanneau that I bought because your vids popped up on my feed 4 years ago.
Awesome!! 😃
It's no Gulf Craft Majesty 175 but for what it's designed for what a sweet inland waterway boat and full steel construction nice! Not a lot else to comment on this one Mr Burnham sir but I've just watched the Lazzara video from Tuesday, again another win for Lazzara I'd say for sure,a stunning beautiful looking yacht and an interesting layout with top notch furnishings and fittings,as ever Nick you do find the interesting stuff thank you, all the best from Cornwall 🤗✌️👍
Very simple and very practical boat for not a lot of money if I was scoring it I'd give it a 10/10 see it's not alway about superyachts the small builders are just as good at what thay do
What a great neat little cruiser, it would even make it across the channel too!
Thanks Nick. Would like to see a tour of the aft cabin version
Beautiful well designed vessel.
That’s a super no frills boat - just a great usable boat!
This a great insight into a superb boat. I'd really love a 45AC, but this is an exceptional compact boat. I saw loads of Linssens on the Rhine-Marne canal last year, and coveted every single one of them.
Beautiful steel boat … very practical, thanks Nick 😎👍🏼
No problem 👍
Hi Nick, Now thats is a high Dutch Quality yacht bij Linssen this 35 SL Sedan steel build and i like it great for the rivers, canals and lake's in Europe for my self i am more a fan of the aft cabine type Thanks again Nick a great show ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
My pleasure!
Great video, cheers from Bodega Bay, California. They filmed the old Alfred Hitchcock thriller "The Birds" here. We're a quaint little drinking village...with a fishing problem.
All those birds catching them…😊
It's not a drinking problem. Well at least not for the drinkers.
Haha, love that! Found a t-shirt with the same quote in Paihia, New Zealand, just had to buy that one...Cheers from a very rainy Otford, Kent, UK.
I like the aft cabin design
Mee too 😎
I agree that would be my choice for inland cruising.
Lovely boat nick ⛵️🛥🚤👍👍👍👏👏👏⭐️⭐️⭐️
Great tour Nick, I like Linsens, but think the Delphia 10 you previewed, a similar inland style vessel, offers more flexibility, 2 bedrooms and a far lower cost 👍
The Delphia 10 certainly is a cheaper boat. It just depends what your priorities are. 🙂
Awesome boat there Nick! Looks solid! Keep up the amazing work mate! :)
Thanks, will do!
This boat would, make a lovely floating holiday home.
Nice boat, nice to see Nick a bit morechippa.
The night blind is to make it look nice from the inside so you do not have to look at the closed roof.
What a nice little boat . . Great for a couple to pootle down the cannals and rivers . . Awesome . .
I noticed a couple of other nice boats near this one . . I hope you were lucky enough to film them 👍
I saw a thumb nail for a vid on an Arksen boat . . Have you any vids on them . .
Great tour as usual Nick . . .
Until the next one . . Take care . .
💐🍻🙏🇳🇿
Love the Linnsens, could we see the two cabin version some day?
Hi Nick, I hope one day you come across the Grand Sturdy 590AC and review it. Great review, it’s a charming boat, with all the romanticism of cruising French river water lines.
This will certainly be popular with the Dutch.
Another great Video Nick very enjoyable thank you so much hope you are keeping well. Always look forward to your videos
Thanks, you too!
great boat! Thanks for sharing! would be very nice on inland waterways! 👍👍
Thanks for watching!
@@AQUAHOLIC 👍👍
Thanks for the share Nick.
My pleasure!!
Very slick, Nick, I know I go on about water storage and consumption all the time, but one must stay hydrated with copious brew-up's, so when I look at your excellent videos I think to myself I wonder if I could have a water maker installed as an extra facility in the smaller boats, also would the supplier install a freezer?
You certainly could. They're expensive though.
I like that ship quite a bit. The bow and stern thrusters will certainly help navigate locks and river currents. I'm guessing there's also a slightly larger engine option for faster flowing as there may be several river here that flow @ 7-10 knots and it would look odd for it to travel backwards.? :)
That’s the ticket!! I just retired last week. Now we have time to live a bit.
Well, the black out screen is exactly what you said it was. It is a screen (that allows airflow) but blocks out light. Hence being a blackout screen. Why do they have this? Simple, thing bright lights at a marina. Hope this was informative.
So you'd open the roof, but then pull a solid blind across it..? 🤔
Thanks for giving us the finger when describing the different configurations 😜
👍 👍 👍 👏 👏 👏 😃😃😃عاااالیه دمتون گرم توضیحات کامل و مفید بود دستتان درد نکند خسته نباشید خدمت شما
Nice Nick! Ta 🙂
Espectacular Nick 🇨🇴🇨🇴🇨🇴🇨🇴👏👏👏👏
Just the ticket for my neck of the woods Nick..Western Isles..Islay etc. SSG..
Great little river plodder. I’d go for the aft cabin too as far more versatile. Cheers nick
Simplistic, but functional. 👍👍
Thanks. What did you think of the boat..? 🙂
@@AQUAHOLIC I like it. It would suit me well.
Great video, good boat for river exploring. 👌 🇦🇺 😊
Thanks 👍
Perfect for Long Island NY.
Charming Yacht, best to explore Lanzarote
Good afternoon Nick
Good afternoon Micheal.
Very nice, boat 🛥️ ❤
She’s a beauty
The reason for the ‘night screen’ is quite simple, the roof panel is single skinned and suffers with condensation in cooler temperatures.
What are the maintenance implications of a steel hull for private owners? Is it faired or painted steel? This sort of boat would be awesome for the extensive estuary waterways of Pittwater and the Hawkesbury in Sydney. Halvorsens made beautiful cruisers for that area but they were timber.
Nick, I love your channel. I just want to ask what the finger closest to the thumb is called? Just asking!
Great boat for the rivers
So cute! 🥰
I love Linssen my dream boat just need the bigger one with the aft cabin. And they need a dealership in the states
Would have loved a tour of the one next to it - HMS Exploit.
4:48 San Miguel Beer. I mean, after all, it is synonymous with sailors.
Funny, sometimes I'm more interested in the boats around the boat being shown. Would love to have seen and known what that big grey boat as about.
Looks like night screen and bug screen are on same tracks, bet they only go half way and meet in the middle
Perfect for the canal du midi into the med. The rest of the canal system will take a linssen 40-45 but the southern section needs less draught. These are cheap enough to hire.
Do you have a video of the 2 cabin style
This is very much designed for what Dutch pensioners buy a boat for. Just puttering away on the Frisian lakes or down the river Rhine. Or even just a little weekend trip on the IJsselmeer.
I gave the vid a "Like" BUT is the price that steep for a single cabin boat because of the steel hull?
The level of access to engine and filters makes me drool! My own boat is terrible in that regard.
This would be great for the Great American Loop and all the inland waterways of the PNW. Love the steel construction.❤🚤
Lovely. Bi-Lingual Nick. Who knew? 😂 Great yacht. Wonder how Al-U-min-iam performs in southern Florida? 🥵
3:36 Can you have the sun roof with the aft cabin layout?
I don't think so as it would have nowhere to slide to
[roof closes] 'and wall-ah' says our Nick in his fluent Cockney French..;) Great for a couple, day boat or small family. Is there an inshore version, maybe a different hull & engine? Thanks Nick.
Glad you enjoyed it! 🙂
The Linssen Grand Sturdy Sedan and Aft Cabin are RCD CE class C for coast
10/10 @@AQUAHOLIC
Everything can be inshore if you’re brave enough …😂
Belisamo ❤
Are these boats strictly inland waters or can the be used and sea?
It's Category C so inland and coastal.
@@AQUAHOLIC Thanks, that makes them much more interesting in the U.K.
I am a stick and string sailor but have recently passed seventy. Sailing at an angle with regular facefulls of salt water in the solent is losing it's appeal and is physically demanding. Imagine cruising past a vineyard or some bulb fields. Pull up outside a restaurant and step ashore? Yes I could be persuaded. Good video as usual.👍
7:11 How to sell a boat by opening a hatch. Alladin's cave for retirees in there (I spotted gin instead of brochures)
6:28 6 knots, 5 litres an hour = 7 mpg? Assume lower speeds will see that soar too.
I've always wondered if you need a TV licence for a boat.
Why, it feel more open, when you sleep with the roof Open 😊
Thing about hot summernights
❤️
