I always preferred sugar syrup on pancakes with a fried egg on top, yes an egg, yummy! 👍🏻🙏🏻💙 We only had snow days if the busses couldn’t get the country kids! When winter was a real winter when snow stayed all winter! 💙👍🏻
Awesome video. Glad you have the snow. Such an inspirational couple to look after the homeless people. My husband is carving an Elmo pumpkin in honour of our grandson!!
I grew up in NY where we had lots of snow in the winter but then married and moved to FL lived there for 20+ years and then moved to Louisiana and lived there for 10 years then I met my husband and moved to Ohio, I was in hopes of a BIG snow storm, the first year 2 in. the 2nd year not even a dusting, now I'm on my 3rd year here in Ohio and I'm praying for a BIG snow storm, it would make my year!! Love seeing the snow, thank you for sharing!! I have made homeless bags, and I felt so good giving then out, God Bless You and Sherri!!
Beautiful snowy day!! Wish I were a cold weather person. Went to Yosemite twice when it had snowed! Snow was so high. We stomped through it to go to dinner at the hotel!!! Walking in snow is murder!! Hated it even though Yosemite is beautiful! Adam, enjoy the snow! Sherri, I’m with you 😂 Love Costco chicken pot pie! Have never seen Shepherds in our local store. I’ll be looking for it! 😋 such a great idea to keep your car supplied with items you can give to the homeless! ❤️ ingenious way to carve open a pumpkin! Got some great tips from you today! 👍🏾 Thanks!
Oh also! Depends on the state, like y’all got a remote learning day because Alaska is used to snow. In AL if it snowed that much we’d be under a state of emergency so school could be cancelled and you wouldn’t have to make it up 😄
Yes Adam the pill cases are crazy! I hope you aren't skipping prescription meds you crazy man. You both are precious & dear to watch. Great pumpkin! Grammy from Texas
One of the reasons I love homeschooling my girls still get snow days! Also we only get snow once a year if we even get any. So to make the littles do school at home and not get to experience something that happens rarely is 😢.
Awesome video as always, like I said on messenger it cool that both our companies share some of the same goals for the communities in which we work in.
The district I sub in had 8 snow days last year. They built in 2 makeup days in March and April. Instead of going 6 extra days in June, they added 40 minutes to each day starting Feb. 1 to the end of the school year. It was a challenge at first, but the concept was well received. It will be interesting to see what happens this year.
Here in New Jersey for my kids it's just like Sheri had. They build in 3 or 4 snow days into the calendar for the year. If we use more than that, then days get added on to the end of the year. If we DON'T use up all the snow days, then they give us the days back, to have a longer Spring Break or Memorial Day weekend. We go to school until the end of June here normally- so the district does anything they can to NOT use those snow days and keep school from going into July HAHA So 2-hour delays are very common to give time to plow and clean off the buses/ cars.
Thank You for giving us the inspiration to give to the people who are in need! We are from Mn & we do have delicious Maple Syrup!!!! You have to know where to get it!!!!
In high school way before the covid time we had remote learning and it was so disappointing. I did get to experience snow days in grade school and I'm grateful.
Yes, o the Mrs Butterworth butter syrup!! But I love my Grandpops pancakes. He used Lard! Bard for you,...but delish! No one makes them better!! Love your snow! We got to 79 today, and it's suppose to get toi 82 tomorrow. Warmest Halloween, ever! Vickie from SE Pa
Good call on Sherri carving the pumpkin. Although it would have been interesting to see your rendition of Sherri‘s drawing. With all the shoveling and measuring and talk of snow, you didn’t once make a snowball to see if it stuck together. Is it because you knew I would be watching, and you knew if it would stick to make a snowball you could make a snowman? Of course, you’re an adult now and don’t have to live with snow people in your yard. I just always thought that children learned what they lived, and you grew up with snow people, so…. 💕💕
snow days were great back then lol. if it snowed we would turn on the tv the next morning of our local news station for closings or delays stay in our pajamas till then and once we heard closed grab a throw put it on the couch hunker down in front of the tv and turn on the cartoons breakfast usually was pancakes or cornbeef hash. then go outside till my face was red come in and have hot coco with marshmallows and whipped cream to warm up. it was luxury
Knew it was a lot of snow the moment you took your first few steps into the snow. The sound says it all. I like "real" fire in the fireplace on a cold day lol😅. We are cold in NM this morning it was 25. 💚💙🤍
We homeschool our kids...we give the kids snow days! We want to play too. Lol we live in Missouri so its not often but happens a couple times a year. Go Chiefs!
Now sitting in Southern Alabama, formally from Eastern Ohio. I miss that kind of snow, but only on weekends when I don't have to go anywhere. That would be a soup day for me.
I grew up in the Central Valley of California. We had tons of fog delays growing up. Fog would be so thick you couldn’t see your hand at arms length in front of your face. It was typically a two hour delay. Sometimes the whole school day would be cancelled if it didn’t clear enough
your first snowfall of the season remind me of Christmas story, Too bad you don’t live in one of my favorite town by Susan Mallery, the books are Home Sweet Christmas, The Christmas Wedding Guest…. in the town, the First Snow Falls of the Season and You’ll have to wait 15 minutes of snow falling to decorate your house for Christmas
Let’s talk about how easy kids have it now finding out about snow days, where as we had to watch the local news ticker tape at the bottom and hope we don’t miss our school and have to wait for it to go back around!
Don’t worry - remote learning days are just a way to have no school without needing to make up the day bc it can still technically count. Teachers assign work but students almost never actually do it and get to make it up.
100% with you on the cheaper syrup! Mrs. Butterworths all the way! Real Maple is nice for cooking. I’m also more of a crispy bacon girl, but it can’t be burnt. Has to at least be edible. Not a fan of chewy bacon. My fiancé says because I like it crispy it’s burnt. It’s been a constant argument for the last 9 years. He prefers chewy like Sheri. 😂
When the surface of the pancake has popped bubbles in the batter, it is time to turn the pancake. It will be perfectly browned. Don't turn them to soon or they look anemic.
Which product / brand name did you use at bottom of your front door to keep out cold wind and maybe snow? I think i saw you do installation of clear white door draft thingamajiggy a while ago.
That was a perfectly cut out pumpkin! I really like those fruit bars! How you take your pills would stress me out! Those are pill organizers and you are not following the rules!! I like snow but not if I have to drive in it. We had snow days and late starts here in Minnesota.
I’m a weird girl…I don’t like bacon on pancakes at all! Just butter for me please 🤣🤣🤣 HOWEVER, I’m with you on the real syrup for brussels sprouts and what not and I LOVE syrup all over my sausage 😋😋😋 when my husband and I were in Canada 🇨🇦 in May during our cruise we bought THE BEST bourbon maple syrup and I really wish I’d bought 20 of them 😜
I need those gloves lol coming up for a week next weekend and its the only thing i didnt get :/ coming from FL i'll def need it. Suggestions? gonna look for a place once i get in town i guess.
Oh goodness! So many stores here will sell gloves! We have Cabelas, Bass Pro, Sportsmans Warehouse. But even grocery stores like Fred Meyer will have them!
I’m married to a Canadian so he’s pulled me into proper appreciation for maple syrup, but give me the pre-cooked, 30-second bacon over the thick fussy bacon any day!
My husband emailed the superintendent of your schools district because he thinks the remote snow days are ridiculous! I think they should compromise and give them 3 freebies and then remote ones from there.
I am a Mrs. Butterworth fanatic. I don't like store brands, I think they are too watery. For a snack I mix peanut butter and syrup and put it on toast. Mmmmm! Oh and please keep the snow up there, I live in Lafayette IN and don't want any of it even though it looks beautiful up there!!!!
Remote learning is ridculous. Its hard for the teachers, its impossible for the parents. My husband and I work, how on earth would we have our kids do online learning. And no SNOW DAY?! poor kids
Ok i just cant let it go. If my city started doing remote learning on snow days I would not have my kids attend. Snow days are a gift just like you said. Its part of childhood. Just mark them absent thank you!
Adam… I hate to break this to you but I don’t think you are actually an ares anymore. They added another constellation to the zodiac signs so your excuse for chaos may no longer be valid. #TeamSherri on this one
I always preferred sugar syrup on pancakes with a fried egg on top, yes an egg, yummy! 👍🏻🙏🏻💙 We only had snow days if the busses couldn’t get the country kids! When winter was a real winter when snow stayed all winter! 💙👍🏻
For next year...those pumpkin carving kits are so worth it!! They make carving 10 times easier! Great vlog❤
Awesome video. Glad you have the snow. Such an inspirational couple to look after the homeless people. My husband is carving an Elmo pumpkin in honour of our grandson!!
First snowfall fun .... last snowfall the best!.
Hahaha! Sherri agrees with you!
Mrs. Butterworth’s for the win!!
Sherri, I’m with you 😂

Yes your pill craziness would drive me crazy and I am a Virgo!!
Yes Adam the pill cases are crazy! I hope you aren't skipping prescription meds you crazy man. You both are precious & dear to watch. Great pumpkin! Grammy from Texas
I even loved snow days as a teacher!!!!!!
One of the reasons I love homeschooling my girls still get snow days! Also we only get snow once a year if we even get any. So to make the littles do school at home and not get to experience something that happens rarely is 😢.
It would stress me out too Sherri 😂❤
Love the pumpkin 🎃

Lol Adam making Sherris eye twitch with his pill organization and consumption habits!

I found these bottles in a little market in some small town and it's SO good!
Yes! I agree with yall for the syrup!
Sherri's "not as excited as... you" spoke to my SOUL. 😂 I feel yah, Sherri. Not looking forward to Michigan's "wetter than normal " winter. 🙄
MRS BUTTERWORTH!!
SOOOOOO delicious!
In high school way before the covid time we had remote learning and it was so disappointing. I did get to experience snow days in grade school and I'm grateful.
Log Cabin is the only option in pancakes/waffles/french toast!
I have been waiting all week for this video! Boo for you guys but thank you for sharing!
We mix sour cream with jam and put that on our sourdough pancakes 😋
We have a certain amount of snow days in my county in colorado
grew up with AJ syrup and still luv it!
Wow, 82 degrees for Halloween?! That's warm!
I'm with Nita on the extra super duper crispy bacon. Cook it all the way and then maybe a little bit more.
Good call on Sherri carving the pumpkin. Although it would have been interesting to see your rendition of Sherri‘s drawing.

Lots of delays in CT.
Knew it was a lot of snow the moment you took your first few steps into the snow. The sound says it all. I like "real" fire in the fireplace on a cold day lol😅. We are cold in NM this morning it was 25. 💚💙🤍
Lovers Butterworth
I miss snow 😩
Yay here in Ohio also has delays for bad weather. Also when you live in a rural area sometimes there is a delay also for fog.
Log Cabin is the best "fake" maple syrup.
Carving tip- if you use a dry erase marker for the outline you can wipe it off with rubbing alcohol after cutting
You need to get a windshield cover so your wipers don’t freeze and it’s easier to clean off the car
I've never even tasted real maple syrup. Yeah, I'm with you. Give me Aunt Jemima any day.
I grew up in the Central Valley of California. We had tons of fog delays growing up. Fog would be so thick you couldn’t see your hand at arms length in front of your face. It was typically a two hour delay. Sometimes the whole school day would be cancelled if it didn’t clear enough

When I was a kid a horn used to blow. Yes I’m old😂
We are a house divided ... I love generic grocery store syrup and my husband loves real maple syrup.
I don’t like anything else besides Mrs.Butterworth’s syrup because it is so buttery and rich❣️❣️
Totally agree! It's SO good!
The Miami roll give me Cuban sandwich vibes
Let’s talk about how easy kids have it now finding out about snow days, where as we had to watch the local news ticker tape at the bottom and hope we don’t miss our school and have to wait for it to go back around!
Real maple syrup on everything
Chewy bacon 🥓 💯 and I tried the “real” syrup it was nasty!! lol face syrup all the way baby!!
My mom made our syrrup. 1:1 ratio of sugar and water with maple flavoring. That's what I love on my pancakes.
Woah! Now I want to try that!!
I put butter and Vegemite on my pancakes 😮😂 (tell me you live in Australia without telling me you live in Australia haha)
Don’t worry - remote learning days are just a way to have no school without needing to make up the day bc it can still technically count. Teachers assign work but students almost never actually do it and get to make it up.

Mrs. Butterworths ONLY! But also from scratch with real buttermilk for the pancakes.
My daughter puts brown sugar and vanilla in the pancake mix!!! Its good.
Our friends have a syrup farm in new york.. we dont eat anything else. Yuck to cheap syrup. We r from Minnesota
Well 82 degrees cloudy n windy in south Florida
Adam I but the same bacon 🥓 lol
Yup with you guys on the syrup too
Shepherd’s pie in a pastry case? That’s different
Extra extra crispy bacon!!
You and my mom are bacon twins!
When the surface of the pancake has popped bubbles in the batter, it is time to turn the pancake. It will be perfectly browned. Don't turn them to soon or they look anemic.

No syrup for me. I want berries and whipped cream with crispy bacon 😊
Western New York means true Maple Syrup.
I’m a weird girl…I don’t like bacon on pancakes at all!
I choose bacon that has less meat, more fat. Bake in oven 35 minutes @ 350° the extra fat makes it melt in your mouth yummy!!
No snow for us yet is 72 degrees. We are having rain and winds tomorrow for Halloween
My husband emailed the superintendent of your schools district because he thinks the remote snow days are ridiculous! I think they should compromise and give them 3 freebies and then remote ones from there.
I need the sugar free syrup as I am diabetic
This Midwestern Gal LOVES The Real Maple Syrup!! Sorry for the fake Syrup Lovers.
Remote learning is ridculous. Its hard for the teachers, its impossible for the parents. My husband and I work, how on earth would we have our kids do online learning. And no SNOW DAY?! poor kids

I know! Your mom sent me something about that! But I’m choosing to avoid that reality. How Aries of me
