me pasaba el mismo error e intente con este tutorial pero no funciono aun que gracias a el pude encontrar el error, entren a las propiedades del proyecto con clic derecho y en la sección -Build, -compile asegúrense de que en Java platform tenga el JDK correcto, en mi caso el 1.8

Please help, for me the maven isn't responding I on the cmd, 'mvn' is not recognized internal or external, I tried setting the path at Environment Variable

If u believe u already installed then u need to set the PATH/environment variable for maven in order to be identified as a command. Seems u r using windows, look up how. Hope this helps u or someone who read it
