In the festival, everyone were actors who took their role *very* seriously. Astrea was just the actress for Apollyon but Horkos believed she was the reincarnation of Apollyon. Unfortunately Astrea can’t say she isn’t and now the situation is out of her hands and she has no choice but to continue playing her role or else Horkos will find her out. That’s my head canon.

Seeing apollyon and the year 1 heroes with basic armor in the shard map gave me so much vanilla for honor vibes...the music is also similar to the old ones🔥 ok now that I got your attention, pliz ubi bring back year 1 music in the menus as an option, that theme was the best thing about the game back then

I saw it coming, but I was slightly sad because I wanted a rapier fighter soooo bad, but in the end I was still slightly excited about the new character.
Considering that The Warmonger and not “the” warmongers (asbestos, Syntribos, Smaragos) Astrea just makes me think that she is a daughter or a lost/secret daughter of Apollyon due to how committed she is with the new war taking it up upon herself to honor it and mentioning revenge for Apollyon. Or what the lore highly shows’ that the God Horkos came to her in a vision telling her to create the “new” black stone legion under a new name’ The Order of Horkos and continue the legacy of what Apollyon did before she died. Either way it’s chilling to hear before even warmonger came out that Apollyon said in the story in her final fight “i am immortal champion. Wait and see.” And it’s kinda true. It isn’t Apollyon but it’s someone else taking up her legacy and continuing it in a new horrifying way thanks to corruption being used as a weapon.
If you look up the actual Greek god horkos and the goddess astrea a lot of it will make crystal clear sense when you look at for honor astrea it's pretty epic
These guys were just having fun and messing around to reenact the villains n’ heroes during their time of peace and after seeing some of the actors dead under her feet with their own weapons sticking out from them during the Tyrant’s Test, I just had a natural feeling of dread. I feel bad for those guys who thought that the truce of wyverndale was going to put an end to all fighting when the Horkos just appeared out of the blue just to slaughter all these guys during their time of fun. And RIP the minions who got hung. I won’t ever forgive Astrea for taking away my hopes and dreams for a peaceful world in for honor.

Man, I really dislike horkos just being "bad". I wanted them to be like a faction who wants peace by dominance. that gives them a tyranical look, but with honorouble ends
To be fair they’re good guys in their own eyes, they incite revolution and war to keep the population strong. They’re just going roughly off what Apollyon started. They technically do want peace by dominance, but they also expect revolution, they make themselves the bad guys in times of peace so that great men and women can rise to meet them.
Basically every faction wants peace by dominance. The Iron Legion holds a deathgrip over Ashfeld, the Samurai of the Myre reign supreme in their swamp under Shogun Ayu and just try and take Valkenheim from the viking hordes of the Warborn now. Adding in the Wu Lin and their own territories, basically they all hold 'peace' in their own lands. Apollyon was a madwoman who wanted war, seeing it as the most peaceful form of existence. Kind of like Big Boss and Liquid Snake with Outer Heaven. She was a huge figurehead despite her madness though. It's obvious that once she died, her followers would go on to try and continue her cause in their own ways. That's the Horkos. So no, they shouldn't be "good guys." They're the followers of a madman who want war because they think it is a good way of life. You can understand them, but there's a reason they are the "bad guys." For Honor is surprisingly deep when you consider its message about peace, war and the interactions between these two concepts.
Warmonger is literally like defeating the main boss battle and then unlocking the villain as a playable charecter for it to be an even worse version of the villain.
Is that suppose to be Apollyon's secret apprentice donning the mantle now? Cause I recall her boss fight that she fights like a Warden but has two exclusive unblockable moves of her own.
I really think they should try and make short story-modes for each individual Y3+ hero. Show us how they became who they are now, like astrea for example.. Who was she before she became babypollyon, and what Legion did she belong to?

Hope too see one day a ancient greek style faction in For honor...with spartan thratian athenian warriors/hoplites...with different weapons for example..xiphos(sword) or spear and a shield like the valkyrie but with completely different moves and stances...that would bring this amazing game to a new and great level 🏛🔥
Orochi between the story missions yes but the faction war that is the multiplayer is well after the story mode. Or even if it’s not the original hero’s are long dead and gone.
@@anerd2886 I checked. The Orochi is not confirmed to be dead, but he is older than he used to be; after the game story and year 1 there's around 10 years of distance. So he night be dead, he might not. But that would most likely mean he isn't in shape to face the Warmongers if he's alive.
Orochi oh cool I did not know that. I had it confirmed Holden, the Warden and the Berserker all died and I thought it was way later than in the timeline than it is. Mentions to the hero’s as Myths and legends seems longer than 10 years for me. I do think he’s probably to old to win it single handedly this time.

There is a color in the neutral section named Apollyon. You get it in realistic modes (only available as events). Just use something black. Only the cape and the hair thing on her helmet will be colored if you use Apollyons armor.
The next hero is going to be a viking 100 percent. Where are all of the Horkos troops on the war map? Everywhere except the Viking territory. The next hero is going to drive Horkos out of Heathmoor.
I can easily disprove this. The main antagonist of the story mode was Apollyon and the one who killed her, therefore the main protagonist, was the Emperor's Chosen; The Orochi. Watch the end of the trailer. Astrea the Warmonger avenges Apollyon by executing an Orochi. It's a total throwback to the final duel of the story mode. Lord Warden adopted the title of the new leader of the Iron Legions. The Raider was just a simple raider. He raided the Samurai and then returned home with the spoils of war. The true conflict and the confrontation happened between the Blackstones of Apollyon and the Samurais of Empress Ayu. If the Devs ever release an anti-Warmonger hero who has sworn to bring peace back, it will be the Orochi 2.0 by this logic.

Man, I really dislike horkos just being "bad". I wanted them to be like a faction who wants peace by dominance. that gives them a tyranical look, but with honorouble ends
To be fair they’re good guys in their own eyes, they incite revolution and war to keep the population strong. They’re just going roughly off what Apollyon started. They technically do want peace by dominance, but they also expect revolution, they make themselves the bad guys in times of peace so that great men and women can rise to meet them.
Basically every faction wants peace by dominance. The Iron Legion holds a deathgrip over Ashfeld, the Samurai of the Myre reign supreme in their swamp under Shogun Ayu and just try and take Valkenheim from the viking hordes of the Warborn now. Adding in the Wu Lin and their own territories, basically they all hold 'peace' in their own lands. Apollyon was a madwoman who wanted war, seeing it as the most peaceful form of existence. Kind of like Big Boss and Liquid Snake with Outer Heaven. She was a huge figurehead despite her madness though. It's obvious that once she died, her followers would go on to try and continue her cause in their own ways. That's the Horkos. So no, they shouldn't be "good guys." They're the followers of a madman who want war because they think it is a good way of life. You can understand them, but there's a reason they are the "bad guys."
For Honor is surprisingly deep when you consider its message about peace, war and the interactions between these two concepts.

Warmonger is literally like defeating the main boss battle and then unlocking the villain as a playable charecter for it to be an even worse version of the villain.

Its an Apollyon wannabe in a sense. Her name is Astrea and she aspires to take Apollyon's place as the bringer of war.

I really think they should try and make short story-modes for each individual Y3+ hero. Show us how they became who they are now, like astrea for example.. Who was she before she became babypollyon, and what Legion did she belong to?

Orochi between the story missions yes but the faction war that is the multiplayer is well after the story mode. Or even if it’s not the original hero’s are long dead and gone.
@@anerd2886 I checked. The Orochi is not confirmed to be dead, but he is older than he used to be; after the game story and year 1 there's around 10 years of distance. So he night be dead, he might not. But that would most likely mean he isn't in shape to face the Warmongers if he's alive.
Orochi oh cool I did not know that. I had it confirmed Holden, the Warden and the Berserker all died and I thought it was way later than in the timeline than it is. Mentions to the hero’s as Myths and legends seems longer than 10 years for me. I do think he’s probably to old to win it single handedly this time.

There is a color in the neutral section named Apollyon. You get it in realistic modes (only available as events). Just use something black. Only the cape and the hair thing on her helmet will be colored if you use Apollyons armor.
Now it’ll be cool if Apollyon comes back to kill astrea as she uses her ideology for her own needs

The next hero is going to be a viking 100 percent. Where are all of the Horkos troops on the war map? Everywhere except the Viking territory. The next hero is going to drive Horkos out of Heathmoor.
I can easily disprove this.
The main antagonist of the story mode was Apollyon and the one who killed her, therefore the main protagonist, was the Emperor's Chosen; The Orochi.
Watch the end of the trailer. Astrea the Warmonger avenges Apollyon by executing an Orochi. It's a total throwback to the final duel of the story mode. Lord Warden adopted the title of the new leader of the Iron Legions. The Raider was just a simple raider. He raided the Samurai and then returned home with the spoils of war. The true conflict and the confrontation happened between the Blackstones of Apollyon and the Samurais of Empress Ayu.
If the Devs ever release an anti-Warmonger hero who has sworn to bring peace back, it will be the Orochi 2.0 by this logic.
