Being emotionally tied to your creator is understandable however being emotionally triggered by man is different. Being triggered by a man of God is what the spirit is all about. We have been drawn by "love and kindness" and are conduits of God's glory. Get to know God, his word, and his spirit. That you might KNOW those who labor among you. 1 Thessalonians 5:12-13
Emotions are good, when we can control them. If God didn't want us to have emotions, we wouldn't. However, leaning on our emotions as opposed to the Holy Spirit of The Living God will cost us greatly! 🗣 Help us Christ Jesus. 🛐

People.do it in everyday sessions...they just call it something different like "positive affirmation " but we all need inspiration, motivation, encouragement, etc just to get through everyday life sometimes! Music, art, dance, movies, church, Motivational speaking ...all of it! Peolle arr heavy becauae we consume trash all day! I love these podcasters...but most of it is critical and negative! So to go hear a speaker help us break through the fog of constant negative...it does help!

The last time I checked, Jesus never charged ANYONE for miracles. I used to love TD Jakes, now I avoid his teachings at all costs. Preachers such as he are going to WISH they would’ve taught the word of the Lord differently when judgment day comes.

I once saw Jakes take a verse out of context, spin it, and then ask the folks for $100 dollars. The people were so riled up emotionally that at least from what I could tell 1500-2500 people gave. I estimated that in that brief span he easily brought in 100k to 250k dollars.

But how has that "revelation " positioned u to help others? If u are teaching others...why would anybody listen to you? We criticize people for being teachers and gaining followerrs...but we ourselves want the same thing! No revelation is for private interpretation, but to be shared with as many as possible! Go ye into all thr world and TEACH is the mandate...not isolate and boast about how much u arr Learning privately.
ASKING PRAYERS FOR MY 7 YEAR OLD TWIN GRANDCHILDREN WHOSE MUM ( my daughter's an atheist). My grandson says he doesn't believe in God. Of course the mum is pleased with his unbelief. 😢
I have yet to hear one Pastor declare, today I do not want you sowing seeds to this church, instead sow those seeds in your own homes, feed your families, take care of your Elders, and pay those utilities that’s overdue. When I hear a Pastor do that I will know they heard from God!!!!
Seed sowing and paying tithes. I know a young minister who faithfully paid his tithes. Then, his family of two children and a wife were evicted and wound up in a Public Assisted Living Hotel...
...and he was good with that because all the glory went to God.

Man my heart is burdened to everyone who’s there, everyone who thinks this is biblical. Everyone who thinks it doesn’t get better than this and they are encountering Jesus. Being apart of this for so long you think it’s the right thing. But it isn’t. Praying for them, praying for them to search for truth and open their Bible and seek the word of God. Not his hand but His heart. This is heartbreaking, that’s a lot of people there.

First of all, if u followed his ministry u can see he's not a prosperity preacher. He just happens to be financially successful.
What is so disheartening to me is that people have rolled over for so long and allowed church service to look like this. This was a slow fade that nobody got in front of.
If this is what people call preaching the church is in trouble. The holy spirit is not in this man, GOD has rejected him.
None of this is new. The early church saw wll kinds of craziness. Finally, Apostle Paul said, " from here on I vow to preach Christ and Him crucified...that Christ may dwell in my heart..Christ in you, the hope of glory.

Proverbs 18:21. There are so many scriptures in the Bible that clearly covers this. I don’t hold TD in the same light as I did before, but the word of God does not change.
TD Jakes is paid by the establishment to do what he does! In the meantime, he and the establishment wins while everyone else loses...big time 😢
We can't do what feels good. We have to obey Gods word. When Jesus returns everyone will be judged according to the word. If Jakes dies he will be judged according to the word of God.

The black community needs to take into consideration all of the issues with Jakes' theology, his affiliation with Sean Combs, Tyler Perry, Oprah Winfrey, and more false prophets. With that, there are many reasons for black Christians to seriously reexamine their heroes in the faith.
I think that most blacks don't take each other seriously...until wealth is involved. There are plenty of "poor" preachers who are teaching a solid word...and we don't support them or pay any attention. It's not the preachers fault...it's our appetite for clout or be around the elite in our culture that creates that.

On the other hand I won't say anything against the anointing, because in the last days Jesus will say you did this in my name but your work was of in inequity, and be very careful who you allow to put hands on you. That is opinion. The video is straight forward. At the end, it always comes down to money. The whole scenario is to prepare the ground for the collection. If you choose not to see it, that is your choice. I am not trying to convince no one. The Lord will let the people have the leaders of their choosing (King Saul) according to their contemporary taste.
