Congrats, I got a regular plat 2019 a few weeks ago. I don't care about people raving about the Navigator interior this truck has everything I need. Plus I like sober interiors. Not a fan of the space ship look of the Lincoln. When you're buying cars in the 100k range I tend to toss logic a bit on the side and go with my emotional feel of the ride. Othewise I would be driving a Camry.

This is a Sexy Beast. I would've changed the interior color to All White or a Royal Blue color just to throw some Flavor on this Beast. Changed the Gear Shifter & added Color Coded Buttons & Knobs.
The interior of the new expedition is amazing but i love the escalade, they need to step up a bit though
2020 promises to be their best ever.

6.2 L Escalade had 420 horsepower when it dropped in 2007 come on Chevy you're getting left in the dust engine Wise by other truck companies. I love the 6.2 but when it comes with the same power in the new sport package that it had stock for the last 12 years I would not say there's anything new or exciting. At least the Escalades and Tahoes are not as ugly as the new Silverados whoever designed those should be shot.
@warriorpluto what do I mean Chevy does not have any truck that is faster than a trackhawk or the SRT Jeep when it came out or the srt pick up the Raptor or the new Navigator I think it is a great engine when you remove the displacement on demand had one in my 2016 Silverado but don't kid yourself into thinking it's faster than any of the trucks I mentioned when stock. Maybe if Chevy will offer the 6.2 in the Colorado with all-wheel drive we might get some good performance numbers but they only put it in extended cab pickups or heavy models like the Denali or Escalade
Only two things i dont like compared to competitors same year:
Shifter location.
No Panoramic Moonroof.
The exterior though, is in a class of its own.

I have the 2002 Escalade , a 2012 and a 2019 I can honestly say that there will always be people with negative reviews but if you can afford it and it’s what you want as a Cadillac owner I recommend you get what you want I love and enjoy all of mine!!

I do not understand why we still have a 1980 station wagon gear shifter in a 2019 $100,000 SUV.
Mercedes-Benz does it and no one complains.
I actually love this gear shifter on my tahoe. Don't like the all new scroll and botton shifters on these new cars.

Lincoln Navigators are nice but Escalade my favorite Cadillacs have more trunk space thatn any other car in the world.

This Cadillac Escalade doesn't impress me. Cadillac should do more on luxury. It's best to get the Escalade custom made so you can have a 4k tv with cable tv inside the vehicle.

$2,700 for WheeIs and Paint for the Grille? Get Out of here! That has the same Horse power as a normal Escalade! If GM wants to make a Sport Version put the 655HP LT4 in it. Or put the LT4 Supercharger on the LT1 that inside of it already - Good for 600hp. Don't pull a Lexus by selling us a Glamour Kit and Badge! Give us some Power! Same goes for the Blazer! #GM #generalmotors #cadillac

Needs another 250 HP and Brembos. Should have a console shifter and not a column shifter. Must have a console for second row captains chairs. Definitely a cool ride!
Where's the body kit,how about hood scoops or air intakes,where's the wider wheel flares,the lowered ride height, & most of all the 4" Borla catback exhaust system?? C'mon Cadillac this is all you got?!!Where's the red or race styled stitching inside the interior? Nothing to differentiate it from a regular Escalade!!? Look at the Range Rover Sport for some design tips!

Why won't GM move the gear shifter from the steering column to the center console especially for a so-called Sport Edition?
Because it is a true truck, Utility vehicle. Not a car / minivan based crossover.
Although it bears the Cadillac name, it is still a capable true utility vehicle, ( What the U in SUV means),
Most new so called SUV are no more work capable than delivering Chinese food.
Only a few brands hold true to the traditional SUV heritage. most others are just following a trend in which the Ford Explorer started in th 90's.

Honestly, i used to say the same thing, but in the end, it feels so satisfying dropping a column shifter in a big suv worth 80k. What they should do is make the next one with pure leather and metal
This is why I wouldn't consider an Escalade, even if I bought it when it just came out. The rest caught up and passed it.

Like it except I'm suspicious that the 2500 dollar sport trim price is really just for the different wheels used on the vehicle. Be really nice if they had put a performance brake kit along with performance suspension.

Lincoln Navigator 2019 is better

I mean you really can’t compare it too the navigator it’s more luxurious and it’s not really focused on performance this Cadillac it’s more for ppl who likes speed and haves kids 😂 but overall both are great SUV’S
