I can't believe Honest Trailers thought this movie wasn't as memorable as the 1st one. The second one was better than the 1st one by MILES imho. One of the primary things they did better this time? Nebula. I actually cared about her in this movie, whereas in Vol. 1 she might as well have had a badge that said "henchwoman #2". Also, the whole deal with Yondu & the ravagers? I liked that they actually went into their backstory, since in the last one i couldn't decide if 'ravagers' referred to one ship or several.
Oh, God, totally agree! The satire is so much better written and acted out!! Better music score, amazing Nebula: "You were the one who wanted to win and I just wanted a sister." and Yondu: "He may have been your father, boy, but he wasnt' your daddy." --- right in the feels... :`(
I agree, Vol.2 is so underrated. I see most people not talking about it too often and instead highlight Vol.1 which is great but it certainly did not explore characters like Yondu, Nebula, Kraglin or even Quill's relationship with his dad. For me, Vol.1 was about introduce and assemble the Guardians (also about Thanos) while Vol.2 was explore the fan favorites and take them beyond generic villains.
God, what is this horrendous audio quality? Did you use the mic from somebodys phone in the room?? I can hardly hear them even when I crank the volume way up jeez...
Possible Spoiler! But I think Nebula dies in End Game. She just explained lying down for hours and nowhere in infinity is she laying down except the torture scene which she isn’t really laying. But we’ll see
