She never get motherly love from her own mother because her mother lost her son while her daughter is alive. Then she got S/A by the man who got her into the industry which is why Qala always keep herself surrounded by women rather than men. And she was actually suffering from extreme depression bcoz of her childhood trauma and the way she dealt with it by poisoning that boy. Nobody was there for her so that she can share these things with them. Even doctor wasnt aware about the mental health. Only she knew what she did and start hallucinating things and then end things by taking her own life.
