I hate Toyota for discontinuing the RW wheels, they look good with 35’s or 37’s like the Baja tundra and are supposedly the lightest wheel out there. Good seeing a locker in action, I need to get one for my tundra, love your videos man!
Great vid. Question, where is your compressor located for your locker? And where did you get the compressor bracket? I’m looking into the ARB air locker now but can’t seem to find a bracket.
Thanks for the reply Sean. Any chance you can shoot me a couple photos of the setup. I'm definitely working on the install of an ARB Air locker and i'm looking for some guidance.
Question: on your tundra, what is your max clearance, approach and departure angle? I've got a stock 2019 Chevy Trail boss with 10.8 in of clearance on it, and I'm wondering if it will be able to handle some of these trails like the Tundra.
Well a stock Tundra has 10.6" of ground clearance and I would be 13", assuming the lowest point is the the rear diff housing with tires and my app and dep angles are double then stock. I wouldnt personally try unless you have rock sliders and bottom skids as even now with 6" of extra height I still higher center here and there.
Steve Solo no matter what I'm doing I get 13 to 11 mpg which I think is fantastic since I'm always running an extra 1000lbs of armor and gear at all times. I know some people are getting 9 mpg on just a slight lift on 35s
At the time of this run I was on OME 613 (3.5" of lift up front) and in the rear a CB +3" shackle and toytec AAL 1.5" (3" of lift the rear) BUT now im on King 2.5 with remote resi/adj front and rear with a +3" Atlas Expedition Leaf Pack and the CB +3" shackles.
Zed Runner haha nope i tried multiple times at different angles and still high centered. To but it in perspective it was a 60ft climb at like a 50 to 55 degree angle...it was pretty dang steep.
The guy in the Tacoma thought he was cool but he wasn't driving he had it on crawl control like its the first time he has been off road.. I saw right through that.. Im not saying not to use it but use it when you really need it or don't act like you just did something special when you had it on crawl control,, Or Maybe he thought he really needed it just for that because he dosen't know how to climb up hills,,
@@chrishillaker5974 OK!! My bad, Sorry about that.. And no I haven't driven with Crawl control I have A track in my truck.. The next time I won't be so quick to judge
Love your videos. Sweet Tundra!

Have you ever driven a tacoma with crawl control? I've only used crawl control once to test it out in sand. That's just MTS and 4low all day.
