I'm liking a build that shifts the points out of Umbral/Imp Mother into Dread Calling and Shadow Invocation. Sims very similar to Imp Mother build (about 1% higher AoE and 1% lower ST) but without the RNGness of Imp Mother
I've been testing the Guillotine build with fel sunder > shadow incovation, it does a bit more in single target, but shadow invocation seems to do better in aoe.
Demo was secretly nerfed. I always keep all my old Sims. While the other two specs got better with the upgraded weapon, Demo got lower in dps with the new id.
I like demo, but summon Charhound needs to be insta cast, or even on a. 25 sec cast if Blizz is worried about casting on the run being a problem. They stand around for ages before going in to attack as it is.... Putting them on such a long cast time feels punitive IMO.
@@Beranin yeah sure but for comparison with darkglare... gfg has no cast time as well and both are on a 2min cd but your are right making tyrant instant would make demon so much more fun to play
I think when it's just standing next to you it is throwing out Bile Spit, but yeah makes little sense for an aoe aura pet to sit at ranged for so long.
I’m a new demon player. I’ve been stacking mastery as much as I can cause it buff pet damage, but why there are a lot of people saying that mastery is the least stats for demon?
its just bc mastery ONLY buffs your pets. crit, vers and haste apply to your dmg and the pets dmg, and since demo does do a decent junk of dps with their own spells, like hand of guldan its generally better to get stats that buff both
has anyone played demo in siege of boralus and if so, anyone else experienced the bug where all your pets go on passive when the boss hits a bomb and gets disorientated?
I feel like even if Guillotine simmed significantly higher, the difficulty with getting packs to stay still inside it without mobs being moved outweighs any possible higher numbers. :D
That's my thought. A big part of why I lean demo in dungeons is because of how frustrating it is for the tanks to keep moving the entire pack out of my Rain of Fire.
Warlock is fine. You don’t want to be OP. We are good enough that an excellent player on a warlock > a mid player on fotm. And that’s all that matters Imo
@@guldonis1155 dude, Destro is 7th overall on warcraft logs, demo isn't far behind. Yeah aff is struggling a bit more in raid but it's better in M+. Warlock is in a really good spot. This was added early in dragonflight I believe by Blizz. It was a QOL to show how long your FG was spinning before he could cast something else. Like If you have your FGs Whirlwind, Soul Strike, Demonic Str. or Guillotine it would show when you could manually cast the other spell because you can't while he's spinning. So it was always a CD but they added the numbers so you could see when you could manually cast one of his other abilities. If you manually cast his Whirlwind it will put a CD on DS too. Because you could never press them both at the same time anyway.

Great video. Love this sort of stuff that arises

Agree. Hopefully in 11.1
Forget charhound, why is demo the only one with a big demon CD that has a cast time? Tyrant should be instant like infernal and darkglare

If he was drinking all that Mountain Dew he’d be cranking out 7 vids a day
Excited to give it a shot my guy thanks for the video
np!
Kalamazi, l would suggest also try dawnthread embellishment with guillotine build. Might be a banger.
Ill check it out!
The dog proc should extend to char and gloom
I hate guillotine so unless it adds another 500k to my AOE dps, I'll stick with the other one.
out of these builds, which one would be best for mythic+
Prob the Umbral/Imp Mother build

Yeah, there is a lot more to playing the ability than just numbers, I agree.

Warlock has been buffed, we're in a pretty good spot now.

The cluncky 5 sec cooldown betwin demonic strenght and guillotine is enough reason to not play it.
Why would i made gameplay clunky on purpose ?
