      nah Eddie is a midget, its funny that Eddie said that "Conor's opponents are tailor made for him" not knowing that he was one of them lol. Shorter and slower, Conor will destroy every midget that they put him against, reach and speed advantage all day. Tony and Khabib are the real tests for Conor, but I see Conor running from a title defense for at least a year in either wieght class, not cause he is afraid, its cause he want more money.

When they say one thing and do another, then you are not a credible organization. That is essentially what Khabib is exposing about the UFC in the interview. And when Conor fights, they'll make as much money as when it's a titleshot or not.

    • @jossoid

      Look back through the history of boxing and a less credible source professional wrestling promoting 101 is your top earner is the champ. Why? Because historically and statistically if you're top earner/guy doesn't have a belt then he loses credibility, if he had of lost to Diaz the second time this ppv would of suffered. Conor's really good, but not perfect. The only 2 recent opponents that i gave any weight too were RDA and Diaz, just because they have a deep understanding of striking. I'd still love to see him fight RDA since he has a Muay Thai base which at higher levels has answers for Conor's style. If Khabib can protect his head and put his hands on Conor it's probably game over for him, but if he tries to strike, Conor has a great chance at starching him. It's a dangerous fight for both.

Props to mcgregor for what he has done in the sport and making history he is a monster, but defend your titles vs the top contenders in the divisions there are top contenders that should have been champions already and have got pushed back because connor took over ufc but connor should have fought a couple top ten guys at 55 first

    This dude is animal, once he gets hold of you, that's it. Pound for pound the best all round grappler in the UFC.
    However I certainly do not agree with what he said about being able to stand with Michael Johnson. He was getting absolutely lit up in the first 2 minutes. He stands for the entire fight with Johnson, Conor, Barbosa, Ferguson and he 100% loses. But that's why it's called MMA I guess ;) His strength (grappling) pretty much negates all of his weaknesses.
    I honestly believe the only way to beat this guy is knock him out cold in the first minute or two. Otherwise there is no stopping him taking you down at some point.

    • @xart23x
      @xart23x 7 ปีที่แล้ว +10

      After Khabib took MJ down, he slowed him up a lot. And I think Khabib meant he coulda beat him standing after this point. He did catch him with good right hands after MJ was slower.

    • @stevedempsey3610
      @stevedempsey3610 7 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      You basically just confirmed what I said. Whether you agree or disagree that he was getting 'lit up' is irrelevant. He is not really a threat standing up, his boxing is mediocre. You alluded to the fact that he made Johnson miss, his movement was good etc, but you didn't mention any good punches, kicks, combos he threw. Because it didn't happen! That's exactly my point...he stands and fights, he loses. The fight goes to the ground, he wins. If someone wants to argue this go ahead, I've seen nothing so far that would make me think otherwise

      ure right dude, thats the only possible way to win that style and fighter as habib, rock him hard or KO asap. conor has some chances for that in a 1st round. tony probably will lose, no such power to KO him, and for sure tony will not be able to wrestle with habib, habib vs tony potentially will look as against MJ

      That's not true. Conor is one of fighters that I usually root for. I am not a hater at all. I am trying to speak the truth and what I believe. I knew Conor would win the second fight against Nate Diaz and the fight against Eddie. However, there are a few fighters in lightweight division, I don't think it would be great for him. Khabib is one of them. Khabib manhandles elite wrestlers, I don't think Conor would be able to get up after he is taken down by him. People forget that Eddie is not an excellent wrestler even compared to someone like Mendez who is a smaller wrestler.
      Khabib won't try to box with Conor like Eddie and other fighters did. Eddie wa circling to Conor's left hand, I am not sure what he was thinking. Circling to the southpaw's left hand??
      Conor has a wide stance thus Khabi just needs to lowkick him a several time and take him down forget about punching.
      Again, Conor is one of the fighters who I usually root for and I like his idea fighting with anyone regardless of size because I believe martial arts are about beating larger opponents.

    • @sticktrik
      @sticktrik 7 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Sangerino...Did you notice Habib abandoned his
      stand up against MJ!!...He knew it was risky
      to continue after he got tagged!! It was smart
      for his corner to influence him into taking the fight to the ground!! His ground game is
      unorthodox & fighters can't figure how to counter!!! Add to the fact that this guy is as strong as an ox!!!!! Conor won't be able to
      take that kind of pummelling if it gets to the
      ground!!!! I predict this match won't happen
      anytime soon!!!!!

The more promotion you have pr the better you are promoted the easier you have at getting a tile shot. It seems the best athletes never get the opportunity but the ones who are better connected to the "powers that be" seem to get the shots at the belts. Sucks but it is true. hope he gets hi opportunity.
