For the TWSBI Eco Rose Gold, I just pull the nib and feed out. And you can access the whole in the barrel just like your Diamond 580. I’m careful with pulling the nib and feed, and with sliding them back in. I have my Eco for a couple years with no issues. In fact, i’m pretty sure I’ve seen a video with someone like Drew from Goulet show how to swap the nib in an Eco. But, I love all the other tips you shared. You have a great channel! Thanks!😊
Very true, you can remove them, but as I said, I’ve cracked a couple ecos and have heard of horror stories from others too. most of mine are limited edition/irreplaceable, so this is just another way of doing it. I’m glad you haven’t had issues with removing your nib/feed!
Hi Purl! I've inked a TWSBI this way because I didn't have an ink miser. I think I got about 1mL in there just using this tedious syringe method. I tried to show it once, but you're doing a much better job than I did. Thanks, for sharing, Manda! ❤
I do this all the time with my TWSBI pens. I have tried to describe how to friends, but never saw anyone do a video, until now. This is a great resource for people who use samples and TWSBIs together.
Thanks for showing us how to do that, it is kind of a painstaking process, but it is better than throwing away ink! 🎉 I love that color. I actually think I want a bottle of Tom’s Damson! It looks so good in my glow purple Twsbi
There's a hair on the nib.....There's a HAIR on the NIB!!! Also, There's SOMETHING on the WING!!! Oh....it's gone. I recently had to clean out my TWSBI ECO - T as I heard that Private Reserve inks can stain barrels. I cleaned it by removing the plunger and the nib with the feed..cleaned perfectly. If I was going to syringe fill I'd just take out (TAKE OUT THE PAPERS AND THE TRASH! sorry, hit B12 on my internal jukebox) the nib and feed. Easier, less mess. But I get it.
Definitely easier and less messy to take the nib/feed out, but also a lot more dangerous in a way. Those grip sections just aren't very strong, I guess. Thanks for watching!

I thought I remember you had shown it! But then I thought maybe I made it up in my head.
This is brilliant 😮
Purl!!!! And, thanks for the how to use all of an ink sample with a TWSBI.
Wow! Tried this method with my Eco T today and it went really smoothly. Just a tiny twist back and forth to coax down the ink. Thank you!
You're welcome! :D
Such a useful tip - thank you!
You're welcome! I'm so happy it was helpful! :)

Woo-hoo! I'm not alone! haha I know of other people doing this, but I hope the video is helpful!
Oh! I didn't know a syringe would fit i the slot on the bottle of an ECO. Thanks
I'l blame autocorrect..... fit in the bottom of the feed..... Thanks

I LOVE PURRL!!!
I love her too, the little stinker 😂

It is! I’d love to see if anybody else has a better way - some people remove the nib/feed, but I’ve ruined pens that way so I don’t. 😊
Thanks for showing us the process!
And I LOVE the Thumbnail!!!! It looks so cool and arty 😍
TWSBI'S apparently work just fine with squished fins. I was told this after I threw the feed away on one of my pens.
Good to know! It’s a Go so I’m not too worried about it. I don’t use them thaaat much
@@inksplatI have a 580 with some squashed fins. She's fine!
Fantastic! Thank you for doing this video!
You’re welcome! Thanks for watching!
