- Lortex Security. It's a name you probably haven't heard of in years, if you've even heard of it at all. It was once a massive 300k+ member army that ruled the clanning world of Roblox, but it's since disappeared from the face of the platform and fallen into obscurity. What happened to it? Join me as I take a deep dive through Roblox history to find out.

Former Lortex Colonel here from the Wardency era, it was really nice to see that the group didn't die as silently as I thought it would and getting to see some history I only loosely heard of from assosiates in the group. Safe to say this video does summarize my experience well and I'd like to thank you for compiling it's history and bringing it up for everyone to see.

Something i love about old roblox is that even the smallest things have a lot of lore, unfortunatly you cant say that about modern roblox

These Roblox group videos are always really interesting. One of my favorites is Pinewood Builders, which has been around for over 15 years at this point and still going strong, with its games still being updated to this day and having a very rich history to it, including subgroups such as a security team, emergency response team, and a spinoff group called "The Mayhem Syndicate" for the security team to fight against. I'd love to see a video about it sometime!

I only know F E A R but never heard of vortex tho
i believe "The Family" (ive been apart of similar clans) Is a group for "Royalty" or high ranks. The group may have ecncompassed such themes especially with the use of "Fatherland" Which was used alot back in the day historically to describe a nations land. This point is further proven by literally the owners of LS being called "Emperor"

I remember having friends who were in Lortex a few years ago, I had to step away from Roblox for a while and when I finally got to playing it again I nearly completely forgot about Lortex. It's wild how much they've gone forgotten.

It's so unfortunate how such a cool Roblox group with such greatness could go downhill...
It's very saddening, and if it wasn't for Wardency, the group probably could've survived.
Roblox clans are really cool. I went around the roblox forum archive and saw a lot about older war clans. Current war clans are pathetic clans where being a 'power clan' is given value and players are filtered based on skill. The clans of old were just tight-knit groups of players fighting each other. Roblox's first clan Phoenix Fire made by Jacobxxduel (Reverse_Polarity) started the tradition of trying to grow clans as large as possible and this was continued by clans like the X-101st. It is a pity how war clans have fallen. The good 'super'clans are no longer traditional war clans(gun clans/sword clans) but clans that are confined to a select few games. These clans by definition are not superclans due to being a part of a niche game with a niche playerbase. Platform-wide clans are just gone and the remnants are a shadow of their past. A good example is the RSF which is now too focused on Roblox Clan League. The clan league led to a halt on the old platform wide wars and tech improvements which is unfortunate
You should really check out the Third Noob Division, they're a clan that doesn't focus on power clanning and instead utilizes giant wave tactics of the old.
True, I develop for a super-clan and development for most clans have been stagnant for years. Not much changes because a ton of clans have big pride and only care about winning, this makes a few clans keep degenerate users and cheaters in their group so that they can win.

It got too competition focused instead of purely having fun. Current clanning is just cheating and many of the groups are led by pdfs and other degenerates.

I'd suggest perhaps you do VAK next. One of the very few really old clans to still have their original leader, the most dominant clan, the most hated and ifamous clan, and still today we clanners agree it's the undisputed top clan across history. With only really RAT, and VOID really coming close to it's dominance, and they're both long gone. RAT's successor GUF hasn't been as active nowadays, and there hasn't been a legit VOID successor really ever that last more than a month or two.
A video on VAK sounds very interesting not going to lie since their history is so long and historic. It would probably take a lot of effort to make a video on them however.
I'll admit I'm personally not a VAK guy I'm much more of a SURGE guy myself which is one of the other rival "filter group" clans.
Filter Groups are all kinda funny in modern time because they are all owned by terrible people or have had terrible hicom in the past 2 years. I think Vak is the best right now because their pedophile incidents was like 2 years ago, vs Sols which was like 3 months ago, both incidents of pedophiles were defended by the owner of the clan for a while. Surge is owned by a doxxer (who is also a front page dev) and op is also owned by someone who threatens to doxx someone. the 4 top filter clans are all bad bruh how did clanning get this bad.
library of clans represent! lortex security is super cool, but theres so much lore that runs so deep in clans in general its a great area of roblox to explore and show to more people with how interesting it can be!
Please cover FEAR next, this video really got me interested in the lore of FEAR, which i knew nothing about before this video, and i would like to see a video made about it

I would love to see this come back. I played Roblox back in 2016, and I did hear about Vortex Security, but never Lortex Security. I never joined any of these groups. This may be because I wasn't on Roblox too much (maybe one every other week), but I do not remember too much about it.

Yk I actually remember being in a tycoon game when I was very young with a buyable Lortex Security suit in it (which I only bought one part of because I was broke at the time) and that was basically my only interaction with the group at all. Ty for another great vid nitro!!

One of the clans I wish you would cover is UCR or United Clan of ROBLOX. It was the 18th group created on roblox (id 18), and still going

Nice video. A piece of constructive criticism: I can only deduce from the content that Marinist is still incredibly upset regarding the events that occurred in 2018-2019, using Nitrolords platform to take out some resentment upon me. Which is fine, stoicism sometimes escapes us. I will say that a small amount of the screenshots both him and the user toast provided are edited to fit their agenda. The video does seem one-sided during the segment about me, perhaps Marinist provided more source material and this is why. It also appears Functionized wasn't interviewed for this content, I'm sure he would've had some not so nice things to say about me too. It's important to understand most of this happened at least six to eight years ago. We were all teenagers, growing up with different circumstances affecting all of our lives. I wasn't a particularly mature or reasonable individual back then, believe me when I tell you the world punished me for it. I can only hope that everyone involved in the history of Lortex learns to let the bad go and instead cherish what great memories we had, even if the bad ones were more plentiful, they to me were not more powerful.

ExaltedArchitect/eeoa (one of the developers Marinist mentioned) here. I was in Lortex when I was in middle school / early high school, and I look back fondly on a lot of the memories from that time. There were a lot of frustrating moments, but I also made some core memories with the people in that group. Good times.

I clicked on this video to listen to it in the background and had to do a double take when I heard "The Raven Empire." For a second there, I felt like a kid again.
I remember being in Lortex for a bit. I wanted to get into the Airborne so bad because I loved planes when I was younger, but I never could pass those flying tests. I had no idea about all of the drama, since I was just focused on attempting to pass those tests. It's funny hearing about this all again, seeing as it's been years since I thought of it, or even used the account that was in the group.
Shame it all went so wrong, but, it was fun while it lasted. Well, it was fun, until it wasn't.

Never heard of LS outside of Futuretops weapon selections, but knowing my history with Innovation Security and The Nighthawk Imperium, kinda sad I joined the clan scene so late in 2018.
I only ever joined the group to get a cool path tool and a snake gun in a tycoon game.
