This episode was the definition of crazy. I loved the fact that Iran and Lebanon got completely obliterated by VU and Russia and EUnited, I'm glad Algeria changed, but the end, I WAS NOT! EXPECTING IRELAND BOMBING EU, AND THEN, *RUSSIA COLLAPSES EU INTO A MILLION PIECES*, and then, they go to war with Russia. I don't know what's better, 2 episodes in a day or that insane plot twist, great job Miski as always

Every time EUnited said something during the Pandemonium War I looked at Eire and I thought he would do something.

I just noticed that every single time Russia declares war on Estonia-Latvia Finland opens their eyes, they did doing 3rd EP/ IoU and now on a more transparent scale cos of going off screen, but its more direct, that's a real attention to detail that I love because it really shows that Finland cares about Estonia-Latvia, hopefully they can hold the Northern Theatre of war with Polish aid and Finnish equipment from when Finland retired, and hopefully Finland helps Estonia-Latvia
I noticed in that Northern Afriqs in 2:05 paid the southern bordering countries to buy their Land. You can See them Holding a Back of Money each. I am really curious to see Northern Afriqs' strategy and how they will influence the southern european states. Until now they were gaining Money from ADAP and they were bying Land from neighbouring countries in order to expand. I wonder how they will continue this strategy in the Future.

This is awesome ending of this part. Love that story detail of those artillery strike at the end. (Also it must be pain to draw those collapsed state borders at the end, and that venice octopus is nice detail :D)

That was Amazing! This is by far my favourite of your series yet! Before that REALLY cool ending I thought to myself: “Huh, Russia looks a bit spooky, hopefully he won’t do anything.” But he did and wow! Also Russia destroying the option at the end was pretty funny. (Also the fact that you uploaded it today was pretty cool too.) Nice one!
These scenes are amazing the fact that you had to animate the collapse of eu is amazing!

Amazing! I liked how you did the ending of Iran and Lebanon, and after that, I knew Russia looked a bit off, but by no means was I expecting what happened, to happen. 100/10! Also, I had a sneaking suspicion of who was supporting Lebanon, and looks like I was correct. This is my favorite AFOE yet. You are definitely the mapper who has inspired me most. Heck, even my art style for countryballs other than AFOE is inspired by you! You put so much work into this and it's amazing! Thanks for giving all of us this top tear content!

Rewatching the series currently and man, I never realised until now how much of a tragic character Belgium is. For those who may forget, Belgium was the country with the strongest attachment to the EU and it was Belgium who kept the EU together and stopping the collapse after the first terrorist attack in "Rise and Fall". Belgium had so much passion and willpower when it came to the EU and they were the centre of EUnited. Yes they made some questionable choices in the European partitions (attack on Britain, Portugal and the attempt to destroy VU) but it was all for the goal of uniting Europe and making it a powerful continent once again. They tried, and they finally managed to achieve some cooperation with the rest of Europe, though not a part of EUnited.
Then just as they get there, it all falls apart.
Ireland opens fire. EUnited assumes it to be a small rebellion. Nothing they can't handle.
Ireland reveals they're a mere distraction. EUnited doesn't quite get it. The moment it hits...it's too late.
Russia opens fire
The pain is immeasurable, both physically and mentally. It isn't just EUnited screaming. Those screams are all of the EU, but the one that's the loudest? Belgium. After everything they did. All the sacrifices Belgium made to keep them alive. To keep their nations intact. To prevent the collapse. And all for Russia to come in all guns blazing and wipe them out after all their hard work.
The shots are fired and -EUnited- Belgium tries to hold it together. Trying to keep from the collapse. But they feel it. The end has arrived. There's nothing else they could do. After all the effort, everything they tried to do to prevent what became inevitable from happening, it was all over.
I've done a deep dive here, maybe unnecessary, but I noticed this while rewatching the series and Belgium/EUnited's character has really struck me as the tragic character of AFOE. It's like a tragic version of Hungary, both were leaders, both have passion for their union, yet one failed. Perhaps the other will succeed in the finale. Miksi if you read this, I hope you like my little analysis.
Note: I crossed out EUnited because in my headcanon I like to imagine it was really Belgium trying one last time to save the union.

Hi Miksi, loving the series so far. Definitely one of my favourite mapping series I've seen. Amazing episode as always. My one issue, nitpicking really, is the Cyprus situation. I notice it's under Turkish control despite EUnited and the greeks infiltrating to free it. Kinda confused me a bit as to why it wasn't just liberated and independent after the war. This isn't hate btw, just my view as a Cypriot who would love to see my home country free since I never get a chance to see that in reality or in many other mapping series. That aside, love the series and I'll patiently await the next episode. Good luck to VU
The reason of why Cyprus ended up like that is kinda explained in the final part of the whole plot, and that might be huge spoiler.
I'm just saying that everything isn't how it seems.

well this episode is the definition of unexpected and plot twists as the EUnited colapsing, russia declaring war and afriq supporting lebanon all of these were unexpected or wih previous events just thought to be less lickely but anyway it will be interesting to see where this goes in the future.

Vu should Focus On Serbia while Latvian-Estonia Poland and ukraine focus on Russia once Serbia is finished they focus on Russia and secure domain in the Black Sea to secure naval supremacy and land in the coast. Then they can play defensive on the coast and go offensive on the other front.
