Hi Twig, I enjoy and learn a lot from your duels, they are a great entertainment in my free time, I am very sorry that you are considering stopping uploading them to the YT channel. Therefore, I would like to suggest the possibility of continuing to upload them while you upload other content that you also like (I imagine SMITE 2 content), I think many of us would enjoy and appreciate your SMITE 1 duels. I dont think ill be playing smite 2 over smite 1, though i dont have a competitive scene to be looking forward to and training for. But i will say that many of the recent changes/overhauls to smite 2 have made it much more appealing. Wishing you luck and prosperity in smite 2
might be worst still doing some duel content or somethin honestly smite2 is cool but its not that deep yet and everyone does the same stuff and are plugging away on content its just all kinda the same.
Hating the fact that the vast majority of Smite content creators give us a false impression of Smite 1, and make it seem as if it's going to completely "die out", only because Smite 2 came out. Take care of the legacy - that's where it all started. And if you're having fun - why quit?
The problem is the lack of a competitive scene. Even in terms of perspective which I admit is superficial it’s hard to want to invest without the idea of anyone backing the game up.

Smite 1 still has over 5x the god selection. Even tho the graphics aren't as good, i still enjoy it more because of that

I’m having a blast with Smite 2 but I was thinking about booting up Smite 1 last night because I was getting the Maman itch. She’s so fun.

yeah definitely not completely sold on quitting smite 1 yet, we'll just see how it goes
