[ENG SUB] How To De-graft Cactus | DIY | Plant with Me

I've decided to de-graft some of the astros in my collection for the reasons I've mentioned in the video.
This is an amazing opportunity for us to hone our skills if we want to learn how to propagate cacti.
I hope this simple technique helps you out and also inspire you to give it a try with your choice plants.
Bear in mind that highly variegated scions have lower chances of growing their own roots so it's highly advisable to de-graft green plants or those which are more green than variegated.

I have a Godzilla cactus grafted to a dragon fruit stalk. Once it’s time I will definitely do this, and hope I don’t mess it up. Perhaps I should try some different spices first, compare, then make an educated guess. But what your video showed made PERFECT sense to me.

I have like a salt shaker I fill with rooting powder because I have been doing a whole ton of trichocereus cuttings. Over 40 more recently. I think in total it's like 55 that I have. Some already have roots

I've wanted to try this lollipop method, where you leave core of the rootstock attached. But I'm nervous, most other people say it carries a high risk of rotting

Do you recommend na aquarium soil na rin ang gawing medium? Mas attractive kase siyang tingnan for bright colored cacti like dyan sa snow type, compared sa akadama soil.

yes po. Cinnamon powder is pwede ding gamitin. pero kung wala po alaga, it is okay basta properly air dried
