I'm also a Muckalinian, and after a few trips to SE Alaska was turned on to Xtratuf's. Great post hurricane muck boot. Super lightweight for all day comfort, easily fold down to an ankle boot for warm weather and shallow muck. The lightweight comfort comes at a price, there's no shank so they suck for stepping on shovels or such. But for general mucking, and even just rainy day errands they are awesome.
I live in Oregon where it can rain 200 in a year and use my Chore Mucks for mucking and walking. I have had them for 5 years and still see plenty of wear left in them. I weigh 215 and am really hard on shoes. These have served me well both in garden, wilderness and on cement.
Tractor supply boots are now apparently neoprene on the inside… … BUT … I got a pair and tested it immediately by stepping into a kiddy pool… They were taking on water in the left heel. Tractor supply was happy to exchange them. The second pair got the same test and was taking on water in the right toe. Just don’t buy things at tractor supply unless you’re willing to do all the legwork I’m having to do.
I didn't realize there was an activity called "mucking". I always called it walking... in mud. BUT, I guess if mucking is an activity than what the muck do I know! I'll just mucking mind my own mucking business, and muck off. Those look like some mucking good muck boots but I prefer Bogs, I think they're a muck load tougher mucking boots. Ok I'm done.
I'll never buy anything but Muck again. Those Tractor Supply ones, I've had plenty of pairs of those in my life and they are not worth a "muck" in my opinion. Lol
I dont have enough muck in my area but I think I'm gonna get a pair anyway for wet days and maybe even the arctic edition as my go to winter boots. I've seen Canadian Prepper talking about them inthe same way as you do. There's nothing better against cold than keeping the moisture outside and changing the socks or better foot rags often. No boot is breathing when it's frozen anyway. I mean flannel rags or wool socks. How often do you need to change the socks to keep them reasonably dry? Does a very long sock provide a wick effect?
Lol, yes I have bought cheap mucking boots from Tractor Supply and Walmart. I have a swamp on my property and I have beavers that dam it up. I occasionally have to go and clean it up. The mud and muck is horrible, I will order a pair of original muck boots. Thanks for the tip.
I heard the word muck more in 5 minutes than I have in my entire life 😂

I’m moving to the rainforest… you’ve convinced me
i can't tell if this is a serious video or not
It's serious, but I guess their lives around MUCK.
Kind of a sub- culture
Purchased my first pair of Muck Boots recently. Anxious to break them in.

No one can call you a “potty mouth” without instantly becoming one.
You made me Mucker. I ordered a pair. Thank you for this video. I hate Mucking around when it comes to my money.

Check out BOGS when you buy a new pair
So if you’re a half size? U buy up or down? Can’t stand for feet to slide inside.
Which one is the best for gardening and farming (orchards)? Thanks.
I thought the bubbles were the water sinking into the earth and displacing the air that was down there.

Always loved and used MUCK boots but the last to pairs the soles came off! Should not happen for $175-$200 a pair! Trying other options!

The cheap ones are just so uncomfortable they make working miserable
Bogs are the most comfy
Try the muk master boot!
You don't want to muck around
I wanna muck, and know my feet aren't going to get wet ewww
You should muck as often as possible. It's a great stress reliever.
Can’t take much more of that muckmouth
