It would not have KILLED Porsche's engineering team to simply provide an access panel to get to the pyro fuse....
In Deutschland darf ein Auto nicht mehr repariert werden wenn die Airbags ausgelöst wurden ❕
Das Auto gilt als Totalschaden.
Somit braucht man auch keine Service Klappe für die Pyro Technik.
Die Amerikaner oder Russen nehmen das ja nicht so ernst. 😎🍀💙👊😅
Access panel? They simply could of located it directly off the battery

Matt and Tavarish rebuilt a GT3 this one is GT3 RS, RS is a completely different car.
Thus gotta be the first proper crashed and getting fixed

You would think these German engineers would make it easier for someone to pull that pyro fuse out by putting it somewhere easier to remove.

Добрый день. Месяц назад разбил свою 2024 911 GTS. Небольшие повреждения спереди, косметические. Но сработали подушки на руле, панели и боковые с крыши так как ударил прямо в сенсоры возле фар. Даже фары целые. Страховая конечно пытается машину затоталить, все сошлись на мнении, что кому-то очень приглянулась машина. Пробег 243 мили. Собственно в чем вопрос: я вижу что вы просто заменили подушки в крыше, без замены самой обшивки крыши. Мне посчитали ее замену тоже. На сколько необходимо менять крышу? Там что-то повреждается при срабатывании подушек или просто у официалов по регламенту замена должна быть? Еще второй вопрос пожалуйста - заметил что у вас так же плохо закрываются двери. Я так понимаю при срабатывании подушек что-то срабатывает в замках дверей? Спасибо за ответы.

Great project Vlad, loving your content from Perth, Australia. Crazy location for 911 Pyro fuse!! 🤬These Porsche (VAG) car designers have a sick sense of humor!! On the 9YA/B Cayenne there is literally a smiley face 🙂molded on the heater duct within the center console that you have to remove to get to the airbag module!!! Bet there's a smiley hidden somewhere on the 992! 🤨das vedanya!!
I like the care given to building these cars and respecting their value. Not many people would take off their shoes to get in the car and work!

Wow Vlad! What a project... not because it is too damaged... you have done lots of more complex stuff.... 991R and the GT2RS come to mind... but for that kind of vehicle. As you mentioned, you are the first youtube channel to repair a PorschA 992.1 GT3RS. I would appreciate if you geek out on this repair. Too little is know about the body of that beast. Are the front radiators mounted the same as in the 991.2GT3RS? Are you using the Piwis tester? Where are you getting the wiring diagrams from? What a project... I wish you could take that beast to the track and enjoy it properly as it was built to. A PorschA with purpose.
Hey Vlad, I’ve always looked at body and interior work as a puzzle in a box some are 100 pieces and some are 1000 pieces. But they’re beautiful when they’re done. Since you do a lot of customization how would you do that ugly stock interior and make it more appealing and comfortable?? Great Videos and Thank You 🙏

We saw that Pyro fuse it’s made by Volkswagen. It has a VW stamp on it ha ha.. ❤ VW - Porsche = same house 😂😂
Buy it from a Volkswagen wrecker for $50, New from Porsche $390, audi uses the same Pyro fuse
Not to mention;Audi & Lamborghini and many more all under the VW corporation 👏🏽👏🏽.. so when u need a Pyro fuse for your Lamborghini pay for it at the VW price .. makes sense 🤔

Gorgeous GT3 RS, and in my favourite color too! Great job on the dash removal, I've never understood why other TH-camrs take the dash apart, piece by piece, when they could do it as you did, remove 6-8 bolts, and pull the entire assembly out as one unit. After all, the factory puts dashes in as one unit, so why not remove it the same way?
So Matt Armstrong did not rebuild the first GT3RS ;(
Matt rebuilt a GT3 not a GT3 RS, RS is a completely different car.
