On October, 1956, British Prime Minister Clement Attlee arrived in India for the second time after 1947, he sat in the Governor's House in Calcutta and then described the Chief Justice of Calcutta High Court, Mr. Phanibhushan Chakraborty who was Acting Governor of West Bengal too, in a very clear language that the British government had won only in the Second World War but even after due to the fear of Netaji Subhas Chandra Bose and his Azad Hind Battalions they had decided, Let's leave India with independence. Basically they had been forced to go because in this country only 40,000 British were available on that time, including Ministers, Senior Officers, Army, Navy and Air force. British were afraid about the grand impact which had created by Netaji Suvash Chandra Bose and INA Battalions in the mind of Indian Soldiers those who were working under British Indian Army which was feelings of patriotism towards own nation. As a result, an uprising(Revolt) began between the naval forces. An indefinite strike was called by the "Indian Postal Department". As a consequence, a type of communication between the British authorities in India began to be severed, with the British Parliament and with those in Britain. As a result they had calculated if they would continue their rule any more in India then they could not go back to England with their parents gifted life. Even after hearing this, Justice Shri Phanibhushan Chakraborty directly asked British Prime Minister Clement Attlee to be more clear, "How much was the role of "Gandhi" behind this independence"? Hearing this question, Atlee's lips became twisted in a sarcastic smile as he slowly chewed out the word, "M-i-n-i-m-a-l". It means, former British prime minister Clement Atlee said the role played by Netaji's Indian National Army was paramount in India being granted Independence, while the non-violent movement led by Gandhi was dismissed as having had minimal effect more before 1947. To understand the significance of Attlee's assertion, 1945. The Second World War had ended. The allied powers, led by Britain and the United States, had won. The Axis powers led by Hitler's Germany had been vanquished. The victors wanted to impose justice on the defeated armies. In India, officers of Netaji Bose's Indian National Army were put on trial for treason, torture, murder. This series of court martials, came to be known as the Red Fort Trials. As a consequence Soldiers' mutiny had started because Indians serving in the British armed forces were inflamed by the Red Fort Trials. In February 1946, almost 20,000 sailors of the Royal Indian Navy serving on 78 ships mutinied against the Empire. They went around Mumbai with portraits of Netaji and forced the British to shout Jai Hind and other INA slogans. The rebels brought down the Union Jack on their ships and refused to obey their British masters. This mutiny was followed by similar rebellions in the Royal Indian Air Force and also in the British Indian Army units in Jabalpur. The British were terrified. After the Second World War, 2.5 million Indian soldiers were being de-commissioned from the British Army. Military intelligence reports in 1946 indicated that the Indian soldiers were inflamed and could not be relied upon to obey their British officers. There were only 40,000 British troops in India at the time. Most were eager to go home and in no mood to fight the 2.5 million battle hardened Indian soldiers, who were being de-mobilised. It is under these circumstances that the British decided to grant separation(freedom) to India. The time has come to revisit modern Indian history and acknowledge the immense contribution of Netaji in helping India win its freedom. The great child of Bhart Mata Netaji Subhas Chandra Bose for whom only today we can enjoy the glory of uniqueness of free India had been cheated due to the conspiracy of some leaders. They had projected Gandhi as a main man behind Indian separation(freedom), taking advantage of Netaji's absent in India, and made him ornamented as a Father of the Nation !! "Gandhi brought the freedom through his non-violent movement", persuaded the next generation, like us, to read through the textbook of history. Which is the biggest lie of this world. Let's take an example:- Your house is occupied by a group of anti-socialists. Bonding your child has forced you and your family to care for their services. In that case, if you request them with a non-violent attitude every day that they should release you and leave your house, will they go anytime ... ??? Therefore, Netaji used to say that freedom can never be obtained through the principle of non-violence. It needs to be snatched from rulers. So as a conclusion, We got independence in 1947 for Netaji Subhash Chandra Bose, not for Gandhi, to tell the whole world, including India, that the plot that was lying in front of the entire Indian people for 72 years was destroyed. Netaji is the lifeline of our unique India today, he is the Father of Independence, father of our Nation. not Gandhi.
