I quit Funhaus a while ago, lost interest in all RT channels then the scandals confirmed I was right to be done, but I came here to spam watch Funhaus series cos I wanna remember the old times. Even if it's just one last time, it's a wound worth reopening.
This video has sparked in me a _lust_ for a Funhaus FPS (insert ding-a-ling title like Gunhaus here) featuring a kind of simpleton protagonist (Adam obvi) being harassed by an increasingly irate scientist (James obvi) that _just can't even_ sometimes with the shit he has to put up with _for real omggg_. For instance: a one-off, single-use time control device for a mission that ends up being misused by Protagonist Jones (Gun Haver) to save a spilled bowl of really good chili. Tech briefing dialogue could include something along the lines of Protagonist Jones thinking he's smart in proposing to use the time control device to go back in time to use the time control device after Professor Sockets heavily warns him of the single-use ability. "Well, why don't I just go back in time to use it again?" Professor: "Oh yeah, wondrous hypothesis. I mean, sure, you _could_ do that. BUT ALSO MAYBE DON'T BECAUSE THAT'S STUPID, IDIOT!" Immediate ideas for team inclusiveness would be Bruce as a magically recurring soldier that keeps dying in weird ways; seemingly cursed since it's after giving guff to Protagonist Jones (gun haver) for how oblivious he is in battle. Elise could be the wacky-doodle-dandy president of the Mostly Secret Gun Haver Organization that gives the mission briefings. She's mostly no-nonsense about the briefings, but still feels the impulse to try and "relate" and have people like her because "it's lonely at the top and she's not as scary as everybody thinks she is." (losing inspiration and I have shit to do, so I'm wrapping this up quick) On the other side of the spectrum we've got the antagonist faction lead by Matt. I just think it would be hilariously perfect for him to employ those mannerisms of his into portraying one of the most loathsome villains in that universe at that specific point in time. Like, he isn't really evil or even bad-tempered at all, it's just kind of what he found himself getting into the field and he's pretty good at it. "so...yeah..." Lawrence could be his right-hand man. Also not particularly bad, but one of those people that go out of their way to do/say dumb shit that they think would impress people, but it's mostly cringey shit that ruins their otherwise acceptable personality. And finally other roles can be doled out as seen fit; I'm not familiar with the others to place them. Maybe Omar can be a boss called Hide 'n Seek where you just have to find him to win. Uh...interns can be various henchmen/henchgals, maybe? Perhaps Jacob could be some bashful, giggly, sadistic fuck that's super endearing despite how kind of super awful he is. Eh, I dunno...just an idea...
I agree with Adam, the fact that the demos actually work or aren't super shitty or flash games change the vibe of the show. However i really enjoyed it, i would love to see this become a series, anyway it's just an opinion. Nice content guys.

Timeshift is actually a pretty solid game, lots of cool and fun mechanics
I believe it was really short though, right? And even then it got repetitive near the end. But the mechanics were super solid.
I think they touched the surface of what a time manipulation game could be.
Even the multiplayer was fun. The devs had the clever idea of using localized time bubbles.

Long story short: I watched the live stream.
The 360 era was my favorite of demo disk because most of the games either didnt look bad or the xbox had trouble doing minimal tasks.
