+Sean Hazelwood hey yeah but New Holland have true diff lock they have three settings there's fwd then there's diff lock which clicks out if you depress a side brake stopping power to which side you depress allowing it to steer then clicks straight back into full diff lock as u let off the pedals.. then there's full lock up and fuk this is as proper as it gets.. no hydraulic shit here mate I've seen class tractors with that shit and you get some weight on the front end and it won't drive the front wheels at all..
True diff locks aren't brand specific. Neither is the brake disengage(which only works on the rear diff). All makes offer both of those. I said nothing about mfwd vs hydraulic, hydraulic was a failure on All counts. A locked rear diff steers poorly (brake disengage fixes that). A locked front diff won't steer at all, which is why most buyers choose not to have that option unless they are farming large, straight fields with very few turns. As far as this video goes, the idiot obviously sat there and buried the tractor, Nothing would have climbed out of that hole. Plus, don't get me started on NH junk. They were a good Implement mfr., they only started on power eqpt. after the merge with Ford and ruined Both good names.
I don't get it, why are you guys not using a wheel loader or an excavator it is so much better for a lot of jobs, not for cultivating or to pull a plough or so but getting trees out of the ground is a lot easyer
JD are good tractors but they seriously don't have a proper full lock up on the front axle which means if one wheel loads up more it sends power to the other wheel making it three wheel drive
