Tomorrow I'm entering the last year of my 20's - scary stuff haha! This year has been a bit harder for me to post as regularly as the year before. Having a child definitely changes things 😅. I just wanted to document a bit of a 'last jam at 28' moment, so here's a jam over some simple changes. All of my lesson packages are on sale for the last few days of August at 30% off using the code 'SUMMER2022'. jack-gardiner.co.uk Thanks to all of you for the support over the years! ❤
Hi, Jack. That's a very nice feel. I really enjoy how you mix up the notes and get into a groove too. By the way, for a second there at 2:22, I thought I caught a few note flashes of Eleanor Rigby. I think one of the biggest compliments you can give to a fellow guitarist is to say, "You have your own style." And you do for sure. Well done.
From the first time I heard you play, I found it fabulous the sought-after way in which you fuse melody and technique. This creates the Jack Gardiner's feeling and touch, a unique and recognizable sound 🎸🎼🎵🎶. Keep it up, you're already a great among the greatest. Thank you 🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻 for sharing your music with us. Happy birthday !!!
If you're half as good a dad as you are a guitar player, your kids onto a winner. Good luck. It's the most important thing you'll ever do. Beautiful playing. As always, you flash git. 😉
Hey Jack, what a breathtaking great player you are. Never running out of superb ideas, and developing them with such a beautiful feeling for the instrument and all of its ways expressing yourself. It seems like you’re falling again and again in love with the guitar and making music on a daily basis. Thxamillion for all your wonderful content(by the way:nice quote "Elenor Rigby" at about minute 02:20). All the best for you and your beloved ones. Good regards from Bavaria
This means such a lot to me man! Thanks so much Henry! Glad you spotted the Elenor Rigby quote too! I think I realised halfway through the phrase what it was haha! ❤️😅
Happy birthday Jack! You’re an amazing and inspirational player. I listen to your stuff all the time, both solo and with Owane (love). As others said, your phrasing, technique and tone are truly wondrous to hear. Your playing makes me smile every time I hear it. Such a good feeling!
Wish you all the best Jack. You are such a nice and wonderful person. I've been following your music for years and I will continue to do it voluntarily. Love and big hug from Jakarta!
Thanks so much man! I’ve actually got a quiet year in terms of gigs. More stuff happening in December in the U.K. and Asia, but hoping next year we’ll have a lot more going on!
What pickups did you put in this one Jack? Love your single coil sounds with it dude. Seriously considering up grading my AZ prestige but not sure what pickups to get in it 😫
Ahh too kind man! I wish haha! ❤️ I could give a long answer for how I developed my phrasing but maybe I can save that for a video and some lesson packages. I’d say a lot of it is trying to absorb and transcribe as much ‘language’ as possible from different players/styles.
Just realized that I ‘m few days older than you (14th of august), but it would take me multiple lives to get at your level haha! Anyway Happy b-day and please keep doing the solos like the Tom Quayle Etude, Helix, etc. Amazing stuff!
Happy Birthday dude! I thought you were much older, based purely on your tasteful and mature playing and restraint. Sounds like you were playing for much longer.
Enjoy it. The thirties will make you slow down in a variety of ways, but will give you space and time in others. The world seems far less confusing, and finding the proper way forward seems to be a lot easier to find the further down the road you get. Hope I'm around to see what you're like at 38.
Hmm! I haven’t listened to too much Instrumental Guitar recently, but one that I really enjoyed was Regressor’s Crescent Spoon. Beautiful stuff! Other than that, I’ve been revisiting some of my favourites - Frank Gambale’s Live in Japan 1988 and Wayne Krantz’s Two Drink Minimum!
@@JackGardiner I am a girl from France. And yesterday i learn this beautiful performance not once but more more more before the black night. I am learning guitar and you are the best inspiration !

interesting to see you just playing freely. Feels like at 3:13 your flow was a little interrupted. There is a lot of variety in your style.
Love it! Sounds a bit Krantzy ❤️
Ahh man - Wayne Krantz is one of my favourites. Thanks dude! 🙏
