It works okay. I would recommend going with one of those portable A/C but you would have to give up or remove it. The only downside with the small a/c is that sometimes I would get some condensation in the cab because it wasn’t able to recirculate the air inside because I least just sat it on the toolbox and ran the hose in the window.

I sit it on top of my fuel tank and open my rear window.
