I use this discharger. I set presets for all of my batteries. it discharges 8s 6000mah packs at 6.6 amps. It will discharge at higher amp loads with smaller cell count batteries. so far it has worked perfectly for two years. I would definitely recommend it.
I know this video is 4 years old now but, does making the special XT60I to IC3 cable do anything for you as far as the smart battery tech is concerned? Will this auto set itself if you add a spektrum smart battery using the special cable?
This is pretty cool!! I have a Reaktor Charger from Hobby King that will regenerative discharge. The only issue is that it need a power source to work... I have a big AGM battery that I use. This thing is great though because it has a load resistor built in!! I am gonna have to get one of these!! Thanks for the review!
mine is flashing blue green red and the manual says updating. Do i need a Battgo battery to use this? i have only a bias lipo battery. Also please tell how to update this charger. thanks.

I just changed the connector on the FD-200 since I only use the "Smart battery" technology from Spektrum.
