Loved it. I have always been confused about "around" and "round", I heard that the first one is the American spelling whereas the second one is the British spelling for the same word, but I also hear and see Americans use the word "round" too, can you help me understand that, thank you.
Good example of another difference in spelling! Typically when "round" is used as a noun, verb, or adjective, it is always "round." (Let's order a round of drinks. The coach rounded up the players. Have you ever seen a round house?) When "round" is an adverb or preposition, then British use "round" and Americans use "around." (She turned around. There's a stray cat hanging around our house.) However, there are always exceptions, meaning that you may see Americans using "round" instead of "around" (although I'd say it's rare), or vice versa (British using "around).
