You are spot on - literally calling these clowns out by name. The one and only time Tony was supposed to be babysitting my youngest daughter while I was at work he ended up leaving her without my permission with one of his irresponcible "girlfriends" [ many other titles came to mind first when referring to her}. He didn't tell me nor ask me because he knew I would not be okay with that concidering this "woman" did not have custody of her own children. Tony and Mike often chose these types because they could then be the adult children...Anyway long story short Mia had a visit with her 5 year old daughter that day as well and ended up getting arrested for shop lifting while supposedly watching the two little girls. Unbelieveable. I couldn't count on these bio fathers to even babysit while I worked to pay for everything...
Beautiful read as usual, Bronwen. I've noticed when somebody is claiming to "make" Karma happen, underneath there can be a wounded, fear-driven inner child that never outgrew their trauma and never learned to trust the timing and wisdom of the Divine. A quick share to support her healing: The person in this particular story was a deeply wounded child. She has been a pathological liar since her mother tragically died in childhood. She wanted my high school sweetheart, so she told serious lies to gullible grownups to have him sent away. She went on to be a teen mom with another boy and fell into a life of addiction. At one point in adulthood, I tried to give her a job when she'd said she'd turned over a new leaf, but I quickly had to fire her for doing drugs on the clock. When I let her go her quietly without turning her in to authorities, she was part of an obsessive, round-the-clock, noisy smear campaign against me in unthinkable ways for the past decade. An entire decade. I knew her as a child mourning her mother, so I see that in her when I hear of her/their latest attack. Just bizarre, jealous, misguided behavior. I hope we can all send her healing, as well as the social circle and government agencies that she has disrupted with her false accusations. There's a web of them, so the adage that there's no honor among thieves certainly has layers to it. I wish them all wellness and recovery.

My work place AND community, and they celebrated when I got fired. That job treated me absolutely horrible and now I'm trying to find ways to cope with PTSD. They treated me like I had a disease and was crazy when I was already struggling with homelessness
