Me and my mum followed this video and it was so good! So clear! I was replacing an entire new linkage with the new motor attached too. A tip though- taking the bonnet off makes it a whole lot easier to get the scuttles off and see what you are doing better- it’s just 4 bolts although they might be pretty rusty! And take note the position the bonnet is in on the arms. We also left the scuttles resting on the van with the pipes etc still attached to the scuttles to save us having to reattach it all, and they barely got in the way. Also if your wiper arms get stuck we used a hammer method- search TH-cam for a video on how to do it “no fancy tools”. I’m so thankful for you having made this video because there aren’t many for doing this task and this was so clear and covered everything
Just a tip. When replacing the motor plug it in to the harness and turn wipers on then off so the motor then finds the correct home position for the linkages. Then refit the linkages to that position as the motors aren’t manufactured in the home position so your wipers won’t be in the correct position when turning the wipers off if this is not done. Will save you from doing the job twice.
I gotta admit - that was probably the best produced (albeit a simple job) video I've seen! One thing - since it was a very used vehicle, the removal of the wiper arms might have been expanded to show how corroded they can get - this type of corrosion is usual. Excellent. 👍👍
