  • In this video I share how I use my "Process" dashboard which helps me process and clear out all the tasks, ideas, inspiration, and information that I collect throughout the day/week, to make sure that it doesn't just pile up and get forgotten.
    Getting into the habit of doing this routine processing at the end of each day can seriously transform your productivity over time.

    I've noticed I DO save things just for the 'sake of saving' it so this really helped.

    Loved this thanks. This process really helps me to get more intentional about ‘saving for a purpose’ instead of randomly web clipping anything and everything.

    Great video. I originally tried to automatically clip items from the Chrome plugin into the different Notion databases I have but I found that it was too much mental overhead to do that while I am trying to quickly save something to also go through the processing. I determined instead to have just one Inbox and then created a special dashboard embedded with different views of my Inbox database that walks me through asking the correct questions I need to ask myself to figure out where my clippings or to-do items need to go. I know most people wouldn't need this but it helps me with my buggy executive function as a symptom of my ADHD. 🤗 I was thinking of sharing my mechanism at some point in the Notion Mastery group once I've used it successfully for a few months.

      YES, you could totally do this with one central database! I sometimes will send things to the inbox if i don't know where they go, but most things get sent to the Library, but this is also a great tip, and you should totally share a video for this!

      Yes please, I'd find a video on your process super helpful. I'll keep an eye out in the Notion Mastery group.

    I've used the Todoist chrome extension to save web pages as tasks, but your system is much better. Thanks Marie!

    This is so valuable I will add it to my multiples inbox vault to gauge how much am I really clearing/reading.I was also looking for a solution to process interesting emails I keep saving and piling on a folder in my email. This will do it. Thanks!

    This is fantastic! Definitely a big area I've been having some issues with (aka my Inbox is an ever-growing list of embedded links haha) Thanks Marie!

    Such a lovely interface; clean, simple, practical. I'm more an airtable guy at the moment, but everytime I see a video like this I wonder why I didn't stick with Notion.

    • @MariePoulin
      @MariePoulin  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      If its any consolation is till use Airtable, but mostly for data collection. Day to day I rely on notion because its so flexible, clean, elegant :D

    • @DrJohnPollard
      @DrJohnPollard 3 ปีที่แล้ว

      Just this dropdown toggle box is a nice effect as you've demoed. I don't even know if airtable could do that! I'm trying to get my head around it right now in fact, and it's not exactly clear how you did this. Is this in one of your template demos? Thanks...

    Hi Marie! Great video -- definitely got me inspired to review my notebook database and library! And LOVE the aesthetic and how clean this looks I was wondering if you could explain how your notes and ideas notebook aligns with your YT creating process? If you have a TH-cam Idea in your notebook and you decide to go ahead with it, does it get moved to another database?

    Those lushy plants! You inspire me so much about organizing my business with Notion and have been doing it in bite-sized ways in the last few months. Quick question - does Notion do a webclipper like Evernote does?

    Is your Inbox a separate database from your Tasks (Actions) database? If so, what is your process for moving tasks from the Inbox into Actions?

    • @MariePoulin
      @MariePoulin  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      I do not use a separate inbox. If something is an action, i send it to the actions database. If its a resource, I send it to the Library database. THen i have views for "unprocessed" items where i add relations and meta data. I find this infinitely easier than having a separate inbox!
