You can see through the season that Mendy is clearly bringing out the best in Kepa. Mendy is world class for sure, I don't care what anyone says. This guys reflexes is insane, like how many times is he diving one way and the ball takes a deflection and he manages to still adjust himself to save the ball. Because he didn't come in for $70 million, most of these talkatives called pundits don't give him his due, but the guy is amazing.

Kepa's incredible comeback isn't talked about enough. He had to accept he's the second keeper, and he's been terrific since he took on his new role. He's still relatively young as a keeper and has room to grow. Hope we don't sell him

I think a loan deal would be better for both. Kepa have more time on the pitch to improve himself. Plus Chelsea will have better version of Kepa when he back or Mendy getting old. I think a loan deal to Dortmund would be decent
we shouldn't sell Kepa, he is still very young for a goalkeeper...and with that much SKILL! We will be grateful then when Mendy had to retire and Kepa is still on his highest form
Kepa & Timo, they both have shown glimmers of brilliance in their games. People are too harsh, I know it's cliché to say "give them time" but genuinely give them time & enough patience will result in them flourishing, best believe

Glad to see Kepa and Mendy get acknowledged for their saves in the 2020/21 season. Mendy has been a superb addition. The Senegalese Spiderman has done remarkable in his first season. It's also great to see Kepa back having full confidence as well...super facts or definitely facts?

Mendy came from a difficult upbringing and worked his way up. Now he's a no 1 keeper for Chelsea and a CL winner. The hard work pays off

What a signing Edou has been!!... His presence was quite reassuring. Not forgetting Kepa had a good season too, He repaid Tuchel's trust. Healthy competition for these two.
No Kepa let Tuchel down during the FA cup final of the 2020/2021 season against Leicester city. Mendy could have saved the only goal that gave the foxes a victory if he was in goal.

@@user-rp9pf1nw1g It's not about hatred. If truly you're a genuine Chelsea fan, you won't sound the way you do. Go back and watch again all the matches in which Mendy was in goal bearing in mind that he's been at the bridge for a much shorter period when compared to how long Kepa has been the choice goalkeeper. Both lads can't be compared to each other because Mendy is far much better. I admit Kepa has been gaining more confidence in goal since Mendy arrived but his performance is still not up to expectations. I hope he justifies the £70M spent on him by next season.
@@user-rp9pf1nw1g Tielemans or no Tielemans, Mendy is good anywhere within the goal area. Go back and watch the matches he was in goal. He stopped even deflections; a feat very rare among goalkeepers.

Honestly that wasn't a terrible penalty as they made it out to be, Mendy jus did his thing.
@@walusitumbeko4051 considering the importance of the match for them, i honestly think it was a laughable effort from aguero. mendy did saw the run up was slow and immediately he considers that it might be a panenka so he was reluctant to dive. i think kepa would save that too.

Mendy is no doubt our signing of the season. As good as Kepa is, [I am not a fan of the guy but he has improved], most of those saves that Mendy makes regularly Kepa would not save.
