Great video. So much has happened over the last 10 years some if it feels like it was only yesterday. Gutted for wild mouse but do much love for Icon. PB really nailed it and probably my fave coaster added in the UK this decade. And I think if was about this time 10 years ago I signed up to the forum. You've all come so far it's been amazing seeing you all build up this channel massive respect and credit to you all who vlog and trip report 🍻

Being in Blackpool for many illumination nights and even the firework championship nights, I couldn’t believe how rammed the seafront was. Amusements, shops, piers, alllll open. I know it’s at the other end, but when it’s all lit up, it would be a pleasure to get some of these midnight closes back, surely the public would flood when it’s soooo busy on the front.
I'm still really glad I rode the Wild Mouse not long before it closed for good. I also didn't know it closed in August either. Luckily I rode it in July
It literally ran for about 2 months that season, it had loads of teething problems with the new system and then had a further setback which it never re-opened from
First time I did that walk through at about 9 I stood on one of the squishy floors and burst into tears. The creepy butler then picked on me making sure he stared at me til my parents friend told him off XD The ride was great. I just hated that walk through ever since that moment!

It was such an amazing day from registration in the morning to the press conference, seeing all the familiar theme park vloggers to getting Icon to ourselves for a few hours , a day me and Alex will never forget 🤩😍🧱👍🏼

Brilliant round up of this decade at the pleasure beach. My great memories go back to the late 70's. Hours spent in the fun house, Noah's ark, space invader, water chute, tokaydo express to name a few. Always remember my parents buying a book of ride tokens. 10,A tokens, 6, B tokens and 4,C tokens. Cost about £10 back then. Spent all the A tokens on grand national and big dipper. Amazing how blackpool pleasure beach has changed in 40 years. Excited to see more changes in the next decade.
Great video once again! My first ever visit was 2016 (currently my only visit so far) and getting that Wild Mouse credit is a personal highlight, as well as riding the likes of Big One, Big Dipper, Grand National, Nick Streak and Valhalla for the first time ever. But, I really can't wait to go back for the reimagined Valhalla, Icon and any future development

Superbly put together Bicko & Becca. Very informative. How we long for a midnight closing again 😥 It's quite interesting that it took the PB until 2013 to really get behind the late night openings. When you see the the ground/area as shown in the images of the removal of the Tom Sawyer bridge you realise how much space Icon has taken up.
The last ten years have been great the removal of wild mouse saddens me to this day bit the creation of icon created new hope for pleasure beach plus the decade of joy and sadness is at an end and it was great fun thanks pleasure beach for a great decade ❤️❤️
Taking my daughter on her first rollercoaster ride on nickelodeon streak on my 40th birthday 5 years ago was my highlight. But even after 5 years of riding coasters she still won't do "loop-de-loop" ones!

But last time we went to BPB a couple of years ago she went on the blue flyer for first time and loved it so much she went straight round and back on again twice more.

Danielle Dewitt Strange that because the Goldmine crew were fans of the ride and didn’t want to see the changes made. W&G has several dead spots, the Goldmine didn’t.
@@johnmg88 Bling and air are completely different rides (the same model from the same manufacturer but separate rides). Bling was transported to skyline park in germany and has now been bought out by the mellors group who will be opening it as "turbulence" at Fantasy island in march. Air is a separate attraction owned by the Danter brothers. Worth noting that air runs with much more power than bling did due to being a travelling version rather than a park model.

Got a question. I always heard a story when I was a kid that one time one of the Wild Mouse carts derailed, flew across the park and crashed in to the Gold Mine. Is there any truth to that???

The Gold Mine part was always far fetched, but one of those little mouse buggies falling off is completely plausible. Especially in the days before "health and safety". I'm not trying to be contentious, but that response could just be a company line. A deny anything bad ever happened here kind of a deal. I rode that thing dozens of times and I could totally see that happening! Was anyone ever killed or seriously injured on the ride? Is there a real event from the coaster's history that happened and snowballed over time to become said story? It would have been pre- 1990. How far does your knowledge go back? I just realized that I seem a little dickish right now, but the story came from somewhere and I KNOW that something bad happened on that ride at some point. Am I mistaken? If I resesrched it, would I find any stories with say, the headline "Tragedy on the Wild Mouse"? Just being thorough.

I'm sorry but they already changed Valhalla's track and all that when I was there last year from the original design (which was fantastic), and nw they are changing it again. What if it goes through the same fate as the mouse? :(

I miss Trauma Towers. Some really vivid memories of going through that attraction as a kid, so was really sad to find it closed one day.
