Mt. Naupa is considered as the 8th highest mountain in Central Visayas but despite that, it is also one of the most recommended mountains to climb because of its easy and straightforward trail. It’s even recommended for beginners because of how easy it is to climb. The trail is easy yet heart-pumping enough to excite budding climbers. Veteran mountaineers can finish climbing the mountain for about 30 minutes and it may take beginners about an hour or so to reach the top. Due to the reasons mentioned above, Mt. Naupa has become a famous destination among adventure-seekers and casual hikers.
Steep mountains and ranges with an elevation of more than 2,500 meters above sea level hold in its peaks a natural phenomenon that many travelers and mountain hikers look forward to - the sea of clouds.

HOW TO GET THERE?
Exact location: City of Naga, Southern Cebu - approx. 1.5-2 hours away from Cebu City.
BY BUS: Find your way to the Cebu South Bus Terminal. From there, ride a bus that’s bound for Carcar City and ask the driver to drop you off in Tungkop, Minglanilla. Your landmark is the Sister of Mary School in Minglanilla at the right side of the road. Look for Lolo Tinong’s Bakeshop and you may ride a motorcycle from there going to the drop off area in Brgy. Cogon, just tell your driver you’re going to Mt. Naupa.
