Best beginner videos. I’ve taken skating up at just before my 67th birthday and have no problem with skating big circles and long roads, stopping’s an issue so I’ll try all the possibilities. Thank you for your great videos. Mike
one of my toe stops is wearing down to the metal lmao and my new ones havent come in yet, this video couldnt have come at a better time omg ily and youre so good at explaining things i love it

Question you said the T-stop is not really good for downhill speed. I am a return skater after 30 years and not comfortable stopping, period. I was skating a unfamiliar trail and it had a small down hill. I just rolled into grass with heart pumping at the bottom. What is the best stop for downhill with speed?
🤔 I would suggest very helpful to Watch ' How to stop fast on roller skates - Estro Jen Planet' , The backwards Toe Stop.. This gives super control of speed downhill Di best of luck 😊
Apparently it's a powerslide! I had to see a blader do it to realize, on quads it looks different depending on the skater and how fast/low you go into it!
I could never do it that well, but even the skate Marshalls today still do it; kind of a quick "Lemon-Watermelon" and "Gerrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr" and stop on dime; blow the whistle, and block the person that fell from the other skaters. = )

I modified my g50s and right toe stop threads are shreaded 🙄 ... ON NEW YEARS EVE i still skated and use all these move at way too fast speeds 🙈👍👍🥳🥳
