Absolutely had to be January 1977 if only because this was the winter we hit such low temps for the first time in years. Turned out to be one of the coldest recorded. Remember Gov. Shapp ordered schools closed because of the natural gas shortage that winter - music to our ears as kids! The winter of '75 was nothin' like '77 - until this winters in the '70s were often nearly snowless and relatively mild.
Oh My God. Although I was born on January 14, 1981, I will say this is great stuff of Channel 6 airchecks & ACTION NEWS being delivered here. Can I safely guess this is several months or more prior to Rob Jennings arriving at Channel 6?

Firing squad sentences in Utah ended in 2004. But there are still 5 men on d eth row who are eligible for it if the state doesn't have the proper drugs for a lethal injection on the day their de th sentence is finally carried out.

Another thing I noticed. I had read that WPVI was quite early among the Philly stations in putting ENG to good use. This video has an example of that.

Yes cause he arrived after I left in June of 77
