😂man good interview Alex bu people say Gramercy St Hustlas turned 20s because some of them did. GSH disappeared and the 20s took over the area so he's just looking for credit. Also there's alot of old Gramercy St Hustlas graffiti on the side walk on Washington and Gramercy. Also around Arlington.
Brother there isn't anyone who can give any credit in this scenario. It's simply the historical account. If there were 50 members and 4 converted how is that a majority 🤔? The 1st generation grew up and are grandparents today. No one's stays in the streets except damn fools who continue in dumb, self destructive behavior beyond their youth.
@buildacademy1790 who said the majority turned 20s? You are just rambling. All im saying is people say they turned 20s because some members who stood out did and 20s took over the area. He only has a problem with people saying they turned 20s because he was a Crip himself and the Bloods was on him. He been downplaying the 20s and trying to avoid mentioning them. They were definitely around at that time. He also didn't have to bring up the fact that Shotgun was frm Hoover and he didn't have a problem. He was a Crip himself so why would he have had a problem with Shotgun?
@yngdee4533 You're taking it out if context. The interview covered the area prior to gsh, how they came into existence etc. The fact that there were crips over there in the late 70s to mid 80s is a fact independent of gsh. It seems more like there are some who would like the world to thinks otherwise. Everyone who says the gsh turned this or that can't provide any proof because it's made up. There were a few who onence claimed gsh who became bloods and a few who became crips as well. There were crops and bloods who turned gsh too but only those who were there actually knows who. But gsh as a whole never tured anything. The history of hoods in LA are full of stories about individuals who started one thing and ended up something else. There's no shame in it unless the one who did is ashamed of themselves. I know gsh who turned 60, pbg, vslc just like the ones who became 20s which there were 3 and 1 bsp I think that's what was being pointed out.
If the majority of members was GSH and then they eventually became NH 20's well that means they turned 20's you can slice it anyway you want. I do know as facts several hustler gangs received major pressure to become Bloods or Crips in the mid late 80's and early 90's
Arlington Heights/ Mid City/ West Adams always get confused for one another. Most people in LA consider west adams normandie heights the area by USC but west adams is actually the geer gang/ bps area. Its one are thats called 3 different things. Some will say its mid city but to me mid city proper is the school yard area by ricks fish
The area between Washington to about 29st maybe Jefferson between Vermont and Arlington is considered the Historic West Adams district. There are Historic West Adams District signs all over the area 29th/Normandie, 20th/Normandie, Western/Adams ect. They call it Adams/Normandie now but it is the Historic West Adams District.
more stories on the cliques and crews of LA. Forgot about GSH. We also need a story on how the word "Yee-Yee" evolved. And who's a "Yee"😂 Kendrick used it in "Squabble Up" Most people don't know what a "Yee" is
Big up to Berg and old man!!! . Those were two cool ass Gramercy street homies of mine, and like I always say.. Kissy was a cool cat home of theirs too. When I hung with them we wasn't off no gang stuff, We were on some hustlers s***.. either good money at work or in the streets and hollering that females.
Geer gang was one of the hardest gangs to be from in West LA history. Surrounded by enemies. Not that big and then allies (18th street) turned enemies sharing the exact same turf. Geers had to fight off the 18s the 20's BPS , the west blvds and the playboys at the same time.

@yngdee4533 He said he became a crip along the way but gsh wasn't c or b. And he's speaking from the early 80s and says things changed in the 90s.
You need someone from the other blocks like Wilton Cimarron, Manhattan, and St. Andrews to fill im the blanks. Popeye Snake Bigg ect.
That part. They been telling half stories for years and us Manhattan brothas have been quiet because our truth will piss people off.

That area over there was originally known as "Blood Alley." That was before Gramercy and the 20NH's.
They didn’t become 20’s. The 20’s flipped them
Wow

I hear an older lady say it alot. It's her signature call.
Whats the origin??
Skip pissed him off so he went to Alex 😂
😂
True! Skip is a liar, tried to control the narrative like gate keepers do. Mad tho... naw why when I know the truth 😆
