A lot of Slade’s stuff sounds live even though it mostly wasn’t. This was because they all played and sang on the first take of every song. They were the best live band around and this was their way of emphasising that.

If you never caught Slade live you missed the best and loudest band ever, i have seen all the big bands over the years and Slade were by far the best i ever saw.

I did notice, and I noticed it 12 years or so when I first had the clip, it is directly from the original footage and can only imagine that the original filming had a few takes!...btw Billy, I noticed the headstock but had no idea what make and model of guitar it was , so thank you....it will be discussed!
