I always feared the firefight in the theater especially on the hardest difficulty. There's so many different places enemies could be, certain cover points don't work too well in your favor all while this plays to make everything so terrifying. But looking back it was the perfect kind of intensity.
Holy. In 2009 little Me recorded the part from 3:50 onwards with the crappiest tiny recorder ever, really bad quality, because I loved that part so much. And now finally I stumble across the song in good quality. A long-forgotten childhood dream comes true. Thanks T_T
The first song is so beautiful, I'd always hide behind stage just to listen to this while everyone else shoots each other at the balconys and the seats
Not too sure if anyone said it yet, but Mozart's Lacrimosa, also used in requiem for a dream. Toccata and Fugue in D minor, also popular with Dracula, symphony #5 by beethoven. Google dark symphonies if you are truly interested in this sort of music, it's a good base point, without having to actually sample a lot of symphonies to find your niche.
just finished Vegas 1 ( yeah im late i know ) ... so glad i actually found this audioclip ... i actually stopped playing during the Dante's theatre scene just to listen to this song ... honestly one of the most amazing and breathtaking pieces of music ive ever heard ( 3:55 ) ...
the second half is also the theme from the "david mcgahan's world" sketch's on full frontal, that was back in 1996, so its pretty old, id say its probably a classic from mozart or someone, two years later and im still trying to find out whats its called!!
Some of my favourite classical pieces are from the 20th century. To me, the reason why a lot of today's classical isn't that great is because they try to be too fancy/choppy/quirky. What makes good classical music is the way it flows smoothly from piece to piece, and some new age ones (but certainly not this one) don't understand this.
ZOMGPRIEST SOOOO f**** THANKS, seriously i though i would fint it. :) and this night i came to youtube and i found it :D its wicked! Thank you seriously...
Gamespot uses this track as background music for their reviews of Star Wars games (like Star Wars The Clone Wars for Wii). I also read somewhere that it was put on a trailer of Hitman (movie or one of the games), but i couldn't verify that one.
GOD yes, I've searched for this for years now. Ever since a friggin trailer from gamespot! And no, I've never heard this song in the Hitman games (played them all, have all their soundtracks) for whoever's interested.
oh boy do I remember that. Not only that there was a glitch where your team wouldn't hack the computer on the stage. I nearly threw my controller out the window, because it meant i had to restart checkpoint and lose all of my data.
@MWMJoker well it's not an opera literally... but the singer sings that "ahhh" over the music as you described with operatic vocal technique (it's hard to miss it actually) which is what probably led TheMadygirl05cp to decision to call it opera (i love opera by the way)
No one really knows. I will study the credits in the game to see if I can find out and I can also try to mail Ubisoft about it. If I find out anything about it, i will put it in the information about the video. I'll be sure to send you information if I find out anything.
the credits for all ingame music is listed as some company, no specific composers. i dont remember what company exactly, regardless you wont be able to find a legitmate recording of this or any other ingame music anywhere.
hey zomgpriest, I'm gonna send you a friend request for uploading this, thanks very much because I've been looking for this ever since I played this level on terrorist hunt my favourite level =P
I know for a fact that this song has been around for a long time and this is not its original use. but it annoys the hell out of me that I do not know the original name of this song.
This sounds like a song I heard in another game called Bully...well anyways this sounds great...way better than today electric and robot voice with alway the same adolescent love theme that is darn boring and overused. Forever real music! dont think im old just because i HATE new music. cause im 15.
I hide just to hear this when I play.
+Ann Pittman I used to do that, too. I miss this game and R6V2.
Those quiet corners, with my Magnum out, just listening. Goodtimes.
Yesssssss I still do this. Lmao i also play on pc and when playing different maps have this playing in the back ground
This game and it's soundtrack is so underrated. I personally adore Vegas 1 and 2.
The Main section of that song is called "Cold War", written by Chris Payne and Paul Rogers

The 1st time I played in theatre, I heared the song it gave me the chills. And even now it still does.
Here i am just finished the game in 2021 again. Was in 4th grade when i last played this :/
still the best game and the best soundtracks 2021
Right?
As far as FPS go, this one hits _every_ checkmark on my list.
So many great memories of this game! Thanks for posting!
The first song is so beautiful, I'd always hide behind stage just to listen to this while everyone else shoots each other at the balconys and the seats
still here playing vegas 2
vegas 1 and 2 are really beautiful even if very difficult. The music was also wonderful
OMG, I never liked opera until I saw my sister plying this at this place and heard it.
Now opera is epic.
3:05 yup there’s the PTSD. All I would hear in versus matches on this map. Very tense.
Does anyone remember this song playing in the Parks and Recreation episode Galentine's Day?
You have my God I can't believe anyone actually connected this together! I came for the exact same thing!
Which scene tho? I know PnR front to back
The episode where Chris Traeger is the DJ for galentine's day. Season 4 episode 14
FUCKING WHAT
Used to listen to this a bunch in 2009 and discuss the game with my old GameTalk friends. Jeeez. Memories

Love it. Wish the rainbow six vegas team in vegas 1 and 2 had all their faces covered. Woulda made them look a helluva lot cooler and intimidating :D
Thanks for the post!I love so much this song and this game!!

theres a song called marble halls by andrew barkan it's used in the new sprint commercial please look it up I heard it's unreleased.
Check out some of the stuff by Jasper Kyd such as a song called "Apocalypse"
i love this soooooooo much!
This mission was painful on Realistic. But the soundtrack made it worthwhile.
Also, the beginning makes me think of AC:Brotherhood
Agreed. Protecting the computer on the stage that Jung was hacking was the hardest part.
oh boy do I remember that. Not only that there was a glitch where your team wouldn't hack the computer on the stage. I nearly threw my controller out the window, because it meant i had to restart checkpoint and lose all of my data.
same here, love that song :D
I emailed Shawn Lee, the guy who did the Bully soundtrack, and he said he'd never heard this piece before. Really weird.
Declan Gallacher Who ever composed this was high on the Machiavelli spectrum.
good sound
3:50 onward is that Melancholy part that I kept hearing when I had no grenades and didn't know where that 'Ammo Supply box' was, on Realistic.
@MWMJoker well it's not an opera literally... but the singer sings that "ahhh" over the music as you described with operatic vocal technique (it's hard to miss it actually) which is what probably led TheMadygirl05cp to decision to call it opera (i love opera by the way)
My friend was looking for some epic operaish music..and for some reason i just was like "Wait!" and popped in rainbow six to show him this song lol
if u hav easy video downloader u can download this video put it on windows movie maker and convert the video into an audio
reminds me of the film sum of all fears
I always wondered why they used 'Final Showdown' in this piece. Maybe the development team were big Bully fans.
No one really knows. I will study the credits in the game to see if I can find out and I can also try to mail Ubisoft about it. If I find out anything about it, i will put it in the information about the video. I'll be sure to send you information if I find out anything.
Miss this game ... Rainbow Six Vegas 3 for new gen ?
rainbow six siege
we can only hope
halo and rainbow six vegas and 2 have the most greatest soundtracks eva!!!!!!! my opinion
When I first heard that, I stopped shooting and started listening ^^
3:55 onwards reminds me of Roar from Cloverfields soundtrack
@Data81 Paul Haslinger. He's German and wicked
I dont know why but I feel really concenrated when I'm playing in the Theatre.
@SuperUTBER Or,two people are Gabriel Nowak
I kinda hear some same melody from God of War PS4 but Idk whats the soundtrack name in GOW.
This is an amazing score, i have loved it since i first heard it! The theatre level in the first RSV had similar music too, did it not?
Well, yeah your right about that.
Bach - Cello Suite No. 1 in G Major BWV1007 - Mov. 1-3/6
Get to hear this again because Xbox one are giving it out for free on backwards compatibility

Wow it's literally that theme from Bully. Look up "Bully - Final Showdown" on TH-cam.
3:50 - 5:15 ... best Part ;)

I know I am eight years late, but here you go - it's called Cold War(full mix)from Chris Payne & Paul Rogers.
@@blitherpaladin7171 YES
So is there anywhere i could get this anymore?
Mr. Clancy hasn't had much to do with Rainbow Six since Raven Shield.
Do we not have any idea where the origin of this song comes from?
+MiniBeas is it bad? because i dont know
I just wanted to know the artists name
+MiniBeas it's Carlin 181 from Chris Payne & Paul Rogers. The cd itself is hard to get. This song is In Solitude.
The second piece is called Cold War. Hence the soviet style.
This ain't Hitman Blood Money
