- June is spending her first night inside away from her mom and its time for her and Bree to learn some manners!!
Watch our videos to learn about draft horses- horse logging, horse farming, and horse training! Jim uses Belgian, Percheron, and Suffolk horses to do work on the farm and in the woods. He teaches about harnesses, horse-drawn logging and farming equipment, horse feeding and maintenance, and voice commands for horses. New videos uploaded every week. Keep watching to see how Jim trains his new Suffolk Punch colts as he has trained his full-grown teams!

I watched Duke and Earl turn into a great team and I am looking forward to watching Bree and June do the same.
Bree really looks like her mom lady and June looks like her dad Baron. 👍👍👍👍
Thank you team . I really enjoy the horse videos and Brenda's garden videos. You are so lucky to have so many horse experts . The harness Eli makes is pure art work.❤❤❤.
Thanks Jim & Brenda for another pleasant farmyard story.
I love all of your horses. I’m laughing at June’s bad manners in the open stall. Poor Bree just trying to take a nap. 😂
Looked like Skippy was looking for hoof trimmings right off. Glad the horses are doing well.
June and Bree are beautiful horses. Interesting how at this stage June takes on the Suffolk coloring and Bree is more Belgian...they will be a beautiful team!
It is a blessing that they are best buddies, something Jim can capitalise on.
June and Bree are absolutely beautiful, be safe and be well
Bree is so beautiful!! ❤
Lady got all fixed up nicely with a "manicure and pedicure"! She is so beautiful. It's no wonder she has such gorgeous foals! I loved hearing the clippity-clop of Duke with his first pair of shoes!🤗 Anxious to see Bree and June getting their hooves trimmed! I was thinking it was about time to wean little June. She sure was happy to see her mama after spending the night with her big sister instead of mom!
Weaning this way makes it easy, June will get to see Lady and spend time, suckle, but get accustomed to spending long periods separated. She is I think about 5 months old, best done before winter sets in, or the big foal drags the mare down, and she has another coming which will need all Lady has to give.
bree is so beautiful horse
i love that Bree and June will have this bond. this is same stall duke and earl were in as well!
Cutie pie June!
Beautiful lumber
Jim and Brenda, thank You Both for what i consider bonus time with Working Horses With Jim, The weaning process is underway with June and I appreciate your plan of June and Bree being housed together at night ( which works well the old buddy support system . No matter what the weather there's always something to work on a daily basis.
It is so wonderful to see good care being given to the horses hooves. I've been watching some videos that show neglected horses' feet and its heart breaking. Its refreshing to see your care for your animals. It looked like June did really well for her first trim. Bree is so pretty and seems to have a very good disposition. Same for Juny. Thanks for the video and I enjoyed your letter very much.
🧐 Good maintenance / training/ chores episode 👏👍
Bree is absolutely a stunner! And I am interested to see how June mane is calming down and starting to look like a real mane instead of a bunch of curls. But the curls were cute face. I’m surprised at how big June is at this point compared to Bree.
Beautiful magnificent horses and so very well cared for. Intersting video thank you Jim and Barbour
Brenda
Never a moment wasted on a rainy day. June is a thinking horse, shows a lot of trust already, figuring out that with Jim in charge nothing should hurt her. They get used to machinery running long before they have to work it. Weaning a month or 2 early will not set that little nugget of a thing back, especially with the system Jim has, and Lady close by. The trauma of total separation does a lot of damage.
I am wondering how many cameras have been destroyed, and how many backup cameras you got hanging around? Great view on the sawmill!
Greetings from Australia.
You don’t have to ask Skip twice to go for a ride- even with muddy paws😊
It’s always nice to see you explaining what you do with yours horses and you’re others shores, you and Brenda are very busy peoples, thank you both for yours times,it’s always a pleasure watching yours video.(((Bree is a very beautiful female,I must say June is developing quite nicely.)))
Filly
I love the sawmill stuff, too
HI JIM & BRENDA - ❤OMG, - BREE HAS TURNED OUT TO BE ABSOLUTELY BEAUTIFUL! SHE HAS TAKEN ON LADY'S COLORING (ACTUALLY LOOKS PALOMINO TO ME) and LITTLE JUNE HAS TAKEN on more of BARON'S COLORING. I know it'll be a while, but can hardly wait until these two girls will be hitched as a team. They should be striking. Thanks for sharing this video. GOD BLESS...😊❤😊
Bit flash with the editing eh? 😅
Thanks for making the videos, you do just about everything with horses and it's an invaluable source. I think it's really important that you succeed financially with horses
Bree has gotten so big
What are your plans with all the sawdust from the mill? Curious to learn how this is managed in your processing of the wood. I enjoy your videos and seeing the progress you’ve made with the horses and farm.
The sawdust off his mill is a fine cut, so he is able to use it in the horse stalls. You can see a working pile of it usually just inside the barn door, that he shovels from after they clean out the stalls. I think Jim has shown this process in one of his videos when he was cleaning the barn. He also stores the extra in the old trailer just outside the saw mill (the white one he hooks the horses to)
my sister gets sawdust from the amish sawmill by her and also uses it in the stalls for bedding
🎉 bree is really pretty
He didn't wipe his feet off
I know you try to use most of the wood. What I would like to know is what do you do with the bark of the tree once it’s trimmed off. Does it go to waste or do you grind it for something else? Love watching the sawmill. Thanks.🥰👍🍁🍁🍁💜
They use it for firewood in their big fireplace outside
@@terridionne7729 thank you!
❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
I've been wondering how Lady's pregnancy is going.
Do you recommend the rasps? What brand were they?
What happened to William
Jim mentioned in an old video that he was working elsewhere👍
@@Papaguena
Correct 😊
