This is probably the best CQB video on TH-cam. It shows all of the basics in detail, and is modern. There isn’t any old school “open the door and rush in every time” as we’ve recently found that gets people killed more than assessing from the pie then committing when possible.
The best combo since Kobe and Shaq. Glad two of my favorites got together for a video!

You have almost convinced me to get into vr just for this, what kind of vr setup you running?
Expand the description, he has it listed there. I am still rocking an old Oculus Rift CV1 and it's a blast. If you are just getting into it you can't really beat the current Oculus Quest in terms of price, just make sure you are plugged in to your PC with the link cable/relevant usb-c cable for best performance. TAVR is the only "standing" game I find myself playing these days, you'll love it once you get your VR setup.

Disclaimer: I am a dirty, no combat experience civilian, but during @11:25 when he went and did the pie and deliberately went left, I would disagree. Since they have the numbers, I would do a cross entry, where pairs does the pie and commits to going right rather than left because two man would immediately secure that left corner, not visible to him. At least, that's what I would have done but again, this is his job, so he may have another reason as to why he would do that. I don't like the hook method, if I can avoid it, cause it does slow reaction and getting muzzle to target by a fraction and in cqb, where time matters, it'll only be a fraction that takes you to God's doorstep.
The Door opened to the right, which is blocking his vision, and to fully open the door he has to be exposed to the left side, so may as well clear it first whilst having some sort of "cover" (aka door, but not really a cover)
Don't use breaching charges if you dot know where the hostage is

How do you record through your dominant eye? For some reason that game is set to my non dominant eye
On steam VR viewer right click the window and click file. Navigate the drop down window to adjust capture settings.
the sad part of this game is that multiplayer wise its basically dead.. maybe people are doing private servers but public wise you are lucky to find one server of under 10 people.
otherwise I love this game and it has some of the best CQB gameplay in VR.
That’s because it’s a coop game, not a pvp game. The pvp mode was added and it’s pretty bare bones atm

Lol no he didn't pay me. I do get offered money pretty frequently for exactly this sort of thing. I don't find it gross. I think it's promising for the future of accessible training. Haven't accepted any of those offers, tho.
