lucky enough to call this place home have lived here for 23 years (my whole life) and don’t know what i would do any where else. it may seem like there isn’t much to do but if you get in the community you will have a blast. i recommend coming back on Australia day when everyone floats down the lake when the tide is going out really fun tradition. anyway looks like you had fun. edit. the toboggan at magic mountain is the best you will see so fun, and the tree climb is a blast it’s got 2 levels so if you don’t want to go really high you don’t have to
Merimbula, the name sounds nice. Beach looks quite clean and gives scenic view. Yes there are so many unexplored places like this that we are not aware of. Thanks for the tour Andy.
I'd say that most places included on this channel are pretty good secrets, and glad that I have been exposed to them on here! Merimbula seems like a beautiful little spot along the ocean! Great spot for a waterpark too, and even better spot for an aquarium! Great work as always my friend!
Having lived there I can tell you that the locals would probably not welcome a waterpark even though something like that would be amazing and bring job opportunities into the region. Merimbula is one of the small coastal towns that are part of the Bega Valley, from Bermagui to Eden, the population with all the towns combined would not be enough to support something like that. Merimbula does have a small theme park called Magic Mountain, and there is a small Aquarium, but the charm of these small towns is that they are mostly untouched by large commercial ventures and the locals like it that way. Merimbula, Tathra and Eden and brilliant for whale watching and other activities that involve the outdoors.
