This song is absolutely iconic, as it introduced a darker, sexier, an edgier style to K-Pop. There is literally not a group which hasn't covered Mirotic. Literally from Monsta X to the rookie groups. The entire industry looks up to TVXQ. It helps that U-Know (the rapper) is a very supportive senior artist (that's a Korean, especially business expression. They have a word for "senior artists" who debuted first "sunbae:, or, even more officially "sunbaenim", basically meaning Mr. senior artist, it's a very respectful culture). Now, for some context, the original line "I got you under my skin" had to be changed to "I got you under my sky" for live show broadcasts (Idk if y'all know already, but, in K-Pop there are weekly music shows. 6 shows per week: The Show, Show Champion, MCountdown, Music Bank, Music Core and Inkigayo, some on national Korean TV stations, KBS and SBS, some on MBC, so, especially KBS and SBS have to abide by strict governmental regulation. It's loosened since that time ,however, many rules still remain.) It was really a risk for SM and them, but, they made themselves out into legends with Mirotic. One song I'd recommend by TVXQ is Catch Me. Only two members are featured in that song (U-Know and Changmin) because three members who later formed JYJ, left the company because of mistreatment (basically, they sued SM for holding them under a 13 year contract and won, ever since, artists could only be signed for 7 years.) But, their popularity didn't wane AT ALL. They're still releasing music. Changmin, whose stage name is Max recently released Chocolate, while U=Know did just a cinematic work of Art with Thank U in which he portrays a gangster.
I would add that DBSK/TVXQ were ground-breaking as far as their reach. At their height, they had the biggest fanclub in the world and they helped spread Kpop beyond the markets of China and Japan into Southest Asia, Europe and Latin America. BTS is amazing but forerunners like this group really helped pave the way for Kpop to get as big as it has for 3rd gen, 3.5 gen and 4th gen groups. JYJ also was one of the first to do a collab with a western artist when they worked with Kayne West after the group split following the infamous "slave contract" lawsuit.
Here is some background to help you understand the dynamics of TVXQ better. TVXQ (English and Chinese)/DBSK (Korean)/ Tohoshinki (Japanese), which each are the abbreviations/acronyms of the words in each language that translates to mean "Rising Gods of the East," debuted in 2003 as a 5 member group. But, in 2010 three of their members left SM Entertainment and the group and formed a new group called JYJ -- the initials of the members: Junsu, Yoochun and Jaejoong. (JYJ is still a group and they still produce music, but because they left SM Entertainment -- one of the most powerful and influential companies in the industry -- which made it more difficult for them to promote themselves and their music. So the members of JYJ are more known as actors and producers than they are as singers now.) However, Max/Changmin and U-Know/Yunho continued as TVXQ as a duo. This year will be TVXQ/DBSK/Tohoshinki's 18th anniversary, and even now as a duo they are so talented that they have the vocal range to cover all the parts of a song between the two of them, including rap. "Mirotic is a made up word that really has no meaning, but it is derived from a play on the word mirror + otic -- the title was originally supposed to be something like mirror but they thought the word sounded better if you added otic to the end of it, (it made it sound cooler, or something.) Think of it as the words mirror and exotic combined -- that's just how you pronounce the title, not the meaning of the word. "Mirotic," which came out in 2008 when they were still a 5 member group, is a classic in the Kpop world and every new rookie group -- both boy groups and girl groups -- learn this song and choreography and almost every rookie has performed it on music programs, award shows, at showcases, etc. at least once in their career. This song, like SHINee's "Ring Ding Dong," Girls Generation's "Gee" and Super Junior's "Sorry Sorry," etc. is pretty much compulsory for everyone in the entertainment industry to know and learn the song and dance to, no matter how young or old they are. In the MV for "Mirotic" the woman is supposed to be a siren, like from Greek mythology, and she is supposed to be tempting and trapping or luring the TVXQ members to her. Like they say in the song "... I got you under my skin ..." But in the end you see how the members have broke free from her control. (Often in Greek mythology the siren, through her intoxicating love powers, lures guys to their deaths.) Also, you should know, that the "red ocean" they are referring to in the song has a double meaning -- TVXQ's fandom is Cassiopeia and their fan color is red, so when you attend a TVXQ concert you will see an ocean of red. Welcome to the Cassiopeia fandom. If you like TVXQ then you are a Cassi. Yes, TVXQ truly are all-time legends in the music industry. As an SM Entertainment group, it is no surprise that TVXQ are outstanding vocalists. Being some of the best dancers and vocalists in the industry is what we have come to expect from all of SM's artists and groups. That's just a fact about the type of people SM selects to be a part of its company. Changmin (the youngest member) was 15 and U-Know was 17 years old when they debuted with TVXQ, so even though they are one of the senior Kpop groups, Changmin is only 32 and U-know is 34. TVXQ is SM's most senior group, but U-Know and Changmin are still younger than, or the same age as, many of the members of the legendary groups who came after them within their generation. They are best friends with Super Junior and they pretty much all grew up together. Changmin is known for his powerful high notes (even more powerful than Chen and Baekhyun from EXO), he literally has one of the widest note ranges of almost any Kpop artist. In a high note battle he always wins. Fun fact: Changmin is a newly wed, he just got married in September. U-Know is known for his dancing and his passion for dancing and singing. It might be hard to believe, but he is also the rapper of the group. (U-Know truly loves what he does and doesn't hide it. He will tell you he is proud of his accomplishments and he is proud of his work. His passion is kind of a running joke within the industry. Its one of the things he is most known for.) Like U-Know has said before, he and Changmin have lived together for so long that they know each other like an old married couple. They lived together for almost 15 years, if you count pre-debut days. The funny thing is personality-wise, Changmin and U-Know are complete opposites in almost every way. Changmin is quiet, calm and level headed and prefers to be alone; and U-Know is loud, high energy, intense and prefers to be with a group of people. Tohoshinki (TVXQ) are one of the most famous singers in Japan as well, even among Japanese artists. And like SHINee, they are so popular in Japan that they are considered part of the mainstream music scene. TVXQ has one of the biggest worldwide fan bases and they sell out some of the largest concert venues in the world. They are SM Entertainment's top selling group, easily selling out concert tours around the world. One of their more recent Japanese concert tours included 3 days at Nissan Stadium, and they sold out 230,000 tickets and earned $250 million (U.S.) in those 3 days alone.
@Deb Libra Yes, I know the SMTown concert you are referring to, and that is not the one I am talking about. The concert I am talking about is a TVXQ solo concert and it's been approximately 4 or 5 years ago. And I never said it wasn't a usual concert. I was just remarking about the fact that they are so popular that they attract large audiences and they are known as one of SM's biggest money makers because of their popularity.

@@lainamiro976 and please tell me who are the real kings?🤡 this group along side the other 2nd generation started it all, you're the real ignorant here.
When it comes to tvxq, ya gotta hear their classics. Wrong Number is another great one. They’re known for their acapella vocals, and they’re rnb kings, so you gotta give their song Tonight a listen some time. Mirotic only scratches the surface at these men, but it’s a good start ;) tvxq is a good way to get a feel what the first large wave of kpop looked and sounded like. Wonderfully nostalgic 💖💖💖 my very first obsession 🥺
If it says English auto generated under the cc button it’s best to keep them off as auto generation only works with clear English. It’s just going to put gibberish on your screen.
I can't believe they reacted to this video, it's so old and to old kpop videos almost no one reacts. I congratulate you, your channel is worth gold. and thanks for reacting. 🥰
TVXQ! (Previously known also as DBSK "The Gods of The East") and Tohoshinki in Japan are legends. Them and BOA were the ones that revived kpop and expanded it to the rest of Asia. TVXQ! Was originally an Acapella group and I think to this day there isn't a group with that level of vocal talent. Fun fact: They debuted on a presentation with Britney Spears. They were very diverse and they were the ones that have an edgier sound to the genre. Originally a group of five, they're currently active as a duo. As five I would recommend Rising Sun, Purple Line, Wrong Number and the live performance of Love in The Ice. As a duo they now have a more mature sound with a jazzy feel to it. Some of their best tracks are Keep Your Head Down, Before U Go, The Chance of Love, Truth and Something. They also have solo tracks like Chocolate by MAX Changmin and Thank You by Yunho. I'm glad you're reacting to 2nd Generation older kpop, please react to Hot Times by SM the Ballad it's s total vocal showdown eargasm.
TVXQ is still known as DBSK in Korea. DBSK is the Korean equivalent to TVXQ. You won't hear them being called TVXQ in Korea. And us Koreans don't use the initials but actually say Dong Bang Shin Ki. Enjoyed your reaction.
@@TheHockeywitch yes, you're right I just meant that some International Cassies use DBSK or DB5K to talk specifically of the group when they were still a quintet and TVXQ for the duo
@@kete.C Thanks for the clarification. Koreans have always used DBSK regardless of the number of members. I recall more international Cassies calling the duo HOMIN until they finally got comfortable using TVXQ again. Most international fans seem to use TVXQ. As for Koreans, we still say Dong Bang Shin Ki and never DBSK. Take care & stay safe!
thanks for reacting to TVXQ's MIROTIC! :) that song was actually released in 2008. it's a very iconic song for TVXQ too because they released that song at the peak of their careers. the song has since been covered by countless idols and fans. /everyone/ knows the fan chants to this song and you can't help but join in whenever you hear it. TVXQ was actually a quintet, from 2003-2009 and now they're a duo (from 2011 to present). they are also active in Japan and are known as Tohoshinki (東方神起). they're highly respected in both korea and japan for their amazing live performances and for being veterans in the industry for 18 years. you guys should check out their other songs like Rising Sun, "O"-正.反.合., Purple Line (from when they were a quintet) and Keep Your Head Down, Catch Me, Humanoids, Something, Spellbound, The Chance of Love, Loveline, Truth (from when they became a duo). TVXQ's members, U-know Yunho and Max Changmin also have solo work as well. Chocolate is Max Changmin's song (check out his EP too, he's a power vocalist). U-know Yunho's solo work include: Champagne, Drop, Follow, Thank U, Loco, and Eeny Meany (honestly, you guys should check out U-know's latest EP cause the entire album is amazing!) "MIROTIC" is actually an invented word. "Mirotic" is a coined term, created by former member Hero Jaejoong, that combines the Korean miro (미로), meaning "maze", and the English suffix "-tic".
Not going to go into TVXQ’s history since other people already did, but Chocolate isn’t a group song. It was the solo album debut song of Max (Changmin) and is fantastic! TVXQ is still active and are still very well known and respected. They are the Rising Gods of the East
One of the most iconic songs. I've got into kpop en 2008 because of them, they were and still are huge in Japan... and I'm telling you in that year here in my country only few people had internet at that time. The time when they debuted youtube wasn't even a think and they still managed to have fans in Sudamérica, the other side of the world
MAX - CHOCOLATE is a sick .. like... jazz banger? I dont even know how to describe it but its a different style than I normally listen to but somehow it still got me. its by a member from TVXQ!
TVXQ are legends and are still active and still popular in Korea and Japan. They are only 2 members now. The other 3 left and made JYJ which I highly recommend checking out as well. Mirotic is that song that all kpop stans know because of the amount of times other groups cover it which is why people also learn the fan chant to it.
Yes TVXQ! They are kpop legends for sure and their discography is crazy. There are only two members currently in the group (Changmin and Yunho) and both have amazing solo music as well that I hope you check out. TVXQ spellbound is one of the best kpop songs I've ever heard
Iconic KPop legends. Their vocals sooo goood! They are NCT and EXO seniors. SM Ent. super vocals and beautiful dance icons. Yes, they are still making music, but only two of them remained as TVXQ. Still amazing though.
OMG! The nostalgia is hitting hard! These guys are legends and the reason a lot of people worldwide got into kpop when it was not as easily available. I still remember the excitement of seeing their video in samsung's promotional reel when they released a new tv series with some new technology or something, back then kpop was already popular but here it was still so weird to see kpop anywhere outside of the internet and very niche tv shows segments. They'll forever have a special place in my heart, their old balads as 5 members still hurt in the most amazing way.
Just relistening to this song, I can hear the chants and repeats from the crowd, such love for them. If you ever get the chance watch a live performance for this songs, the fan chants just hypes you up
Yes! Im surprised more people dont react to this. Its one of the first songs kpop i listened to and i still do since highschool. Also ive heard "chocolate" its one of the members' (MAX) solo songs its pretty catchy i think you should check it out. I love his voice.
This is one of the first KPOP songs I never heard back in 2009. I had just left of to college and had gotten into Korean music and dramas coming from anime, JROCK, and Japanese dramas
FYI: The high note hit at the end of 'MIROTIC' is sung by Max Changmin. Just to give you an idea of the ability of these singers, Max's vocal range is A2 ~ C6, with his supported range being D3/Eb3 ~ E4/F4. To compare that: Whitney Houston's vocal range is ALSO A2 ~ C6.
i'm so happy you started to expand to Second Gen Groups and TVXQ is one of the best out there. 3 of the members did leave the group( Yoochun, Junsu and Jaejoong) so the group only consist of two members now ( Yunho(or U-Know) and Changmin( or Max Changmin)) they have been around for about 18years and they are still going strong. Here is some songs I recommend. TVXQ: Spellbound, Something, The Chance of Love and VIVA( this is a B-Side tracks so doesn't have a MV but it one of my top favorite songs). Solo songs by the members U-Know : Thank U( came out in late Jan of this year), Follow and Drop Changmin or Max Changmin Chocolate( is his song) and All that Love IF you want to check the other three that left the group any of their work here is a few songs i recommend from them JYJ(The group they formed when they left TVXQ) Mission and Letting Go neither songs have MV but they are my favorites by them Solo songs by the members Junsu(Xia his is stage name so a lot of songs are listed under that): Tarantallegra, Rock the World Ft. The Quiett and Automatic and Flower ft. Tablo(Epik High) Park Yoochun: Slow Dance Kim Jaejoong: Mine
This song makes me goosebumps seriously!! TVXQ! They’re really awesome like be the GOD OF KPOP in 2000’s. Mirotic is the most well known of kpop fandom, almost of all can singing this fan chant at the same time without making an appointment. 넌나를 원해 (원해!) 넌네게 빠져 (빠져!) 🥰
Even the fan chant is iconic ! You can't help but sing it ! Even my daughters who have heard the live version just few times were singing the fan chant ! 😄
Continued. While the other two members Yunho and Changmin remained as TVXQ. It's a sad story as these five guys together were super talented. You should also check out the groups individually but it seems because of some scandals JYJ may no longer be a group. Check out TVXQ Spellbound, a song I recommended before. Junsu and Jaejoong also have solo projects.
Two vocalists stand out here, Jaejoong and Junsu. Jaejoong went to sing rock and Japanese, and Junsu is now a musical actor. Junsu's voice is unmatched in the Korean industry. His belts are out of this friggin world :)
Older kpop is a source of gems, the beginning and roots of everything. I discovered "Mirotic" because of a cover rookie EXO did and never regretted having it on top of my everyday playlist.
They sound amazing with music and even more acapella, which they’re originally formed about. DB5K’s popularity back then was enormous, that they were in the Guinness Book of World Records for being the most photographed celebrities in the world at the time and they had the largest fan club! Fredo will probably appreciate Before U Go, being an R&B guy. Something, Spelbound, Love Line, The Chance of Love...
Yeeesssssssss finally!!!! you probably won't like them because that song is old style Kpop. But don't put them aside, you must watch more of their MV's please! after a while they separated and TVXQ! is formed by U-KNOW and MAX, both also have great solo stuff!!!!
1) They were incredibly popular back then. The fan club was rumored to be the largest, ever, with hundreds of thousands of members. 2) They are still together, but now as a duo, instead of a quintet. Long, ugly story. It wasn't anything between the members, but the three who would leave and the SM label. 3) The song is actually called "The Game" (Jumon). The Anglicazation of it is Mirotic, which is a cross-cultural portmanteau between Miroh (Korean for "maze") and Erotic, which is obvious. The song itself is about being trapped in a relationship that is bad for you and the game being played between the guy and his woman as they keep trying to escape, but can't seem to find a way out. It's really an interesting song, not only for how groundbreaking it was in its content but also because not many had the vocal chops to pull of this arrangement. TVXQ and BoA were the first really--really--big vocal powerhouses for SM. SM is a jerk company (again, a long story), but nobody, and I mean NOBODY, can touch them when it comes to finding and developing vocal talent. Nobody who gets to record for their label sucks at vocals, not even the rappers, who can at least carry a tune without embarrassing anyone. I do think that the song which really tore down the barriers about adult themes even more than this one was "Abracadabra" by Brown Eyed GIrls, which makes "Mirotic" look tame in comparison--especially the differences between the videos. Still, this one put the first big cracks in that glass wall between what was said and meant about sexuality, so that Brown Eyed Girls could shatter it to dust less than a year later. KPop has NOT been the same since this era.
Mirotic is an iconic song in KPOP industry TVXQ! Are the top legend with legend groups. They have all the talent : vocal, dance, hard work. They are well known for their ballad song, a capella and powerful performance. They are the King and beginners of the 2nd KPOP generations and paved the way for KPOP in Japan along with BoA. They’re in the industry for 2 decades now and they’re still strong, passionate. Im so glad you reacted to their song. Hope you would watch TVXQ! others songs.
This band is what got me I to Kpop when I was 16. It was so different and so well produced visually for someone who was part of the MTV generation watching MVs every morning while getting dressed for schools. Obsessed.
Yeah... kpop wasn’t really doing eng captions (especially SM) heavy until like mid-2018 lol. TVXQ was one of my first kpop groups. Found them right after the split. 😪
This song is ICONIC (same as Super Junior - Sorry Sorry and Girls Generation/SNSD - Gee) these 3 song are the most covered songs in the KPop industry, many artists have covered these songs. And yeah, they still making music, they debuted in 2003 (December) as a 5 member group, in 2009, 3 members left the group and the company, but since then TVXQ continued as a duo, till this day.
TVXQ is one of the reason why SMENt(TVXQ'S agency) is the leader in kpop in that era they dominated korea and japan BoA and TVXQ dominated japan that time
You are right by saying this feels nostalgic to some I am happy to be one of them it was around 2009 I started reactting to kpop and since this song was in 2008 it was one of the songs that made me stuck to kpop for this long. Also I am thankfull to TVXQ and Shinee for getting me dive more into korean culture too as a person who loves to get to know different culture from all around the world. But I am sad that only max and uknow are the only remaining members Yoochun, Jaejoong and Junsu were banned from being on korean TV shows to promote their songs and now Yoochun, espicially Jaejoong are well known actors in korea.
U-know Yunho and Max Changmin the current members are IT in Asia, SUPER famous still, looked up to by pretty much all idols. Yunho is known for being super passionate and hardworking and is one of the directors at SM Entertainment and Taeyong names him as one of his role models.
Mirotic is always be the iconic legend song from the legend "god of kpop" TVXQ..even I listen this song for 13 years I never got boring..."I got youu under my skin" will be the iconic lyric forever
Mirotic is like South koreas national anthem. There is not a single Korean who doesn't know the song or the fanchants to the songs. And even tvxq is to this date one of the most popular and most legendary artist. They broke World records before stuff like TH-cam Facebook and Twitter even existed. Without tvxq there would be no Bts / no nct nothing.. Cuz they paved the way and inspired those kids to become artists
omg! yes 😭I've been waiting for this reaction. Long time fan of them. I know it's an older music video etc, but man the talent. These guys were the best group around as 5. Seriously considered gods of kpop (or kings as well). No groups came close to their popularity during their time until the 2009 lawsuit and members leaving :(
TVXQ is the first group that I stan and brought me into kpop around 2007-2008. Of course there were Boa and JTL - My Lecon which so iconic before but TVXQ song sounds different at that time, so trendy, experimental but acceptable (at least for my ears) You gotta try Rising Sun and their acapella compilation Each members can sing, dance, and rap well They're still active both in Japan and South Korea. But due internal issue, they're split and only 2 members under name TVXQ If you react to TVXQ champagne, you'll find fetus nct maknae jisung there when he was 12
Mirotic is definitely an iconic song in the KPop industry. Until now more than 10 years after its release, rookie groups are still making covers of it. Never thought you'd react to it. Before NCT esp 127, the only KPop group I became a fan of was TVXQ. They are legends in the industry. In 2003 when they debuted as 5 members, South Korea was more into solo artists like Rain, Se7en so when they debuted and became really popular, idol groups became a trend in SK again. They also opened Hallyu wave in Japan. So in a way, you can say they saved the industry.
They are in the Guinness book of Records for having the largest fanclub (any Cassie’s in here?) in the world (800k+) and being the most photographed in the world, supposedly over 500 million plus.
THE BEST kpop song ever. (My opinion) Not only is this song legendary, but the group itself. They are considered the Kings/Legends of Kpop, even by other kpop groups. They are the group who other idols grew up watching. Their name is literally The Rising Kings of the East. I consider myself a veteran kpop fan. They are the reason I fell into the rabbit hole. I’m so glad you did a throw back. Most reactors don’t watch old kpop. This made me happy. Also even my profile picture is of them. I haven’t changed my profile picture in years. Just giving you an idea of how much I love them, even if the group split up. Please give them a listen as well as the other group JYJ.
These guys really were a VOCAL group frfr. The mvs for "Tonight" and "Before U Go" (this one was released after 3 of them left) will definitely prove that! Be ready for 90's R&B with those though.
I personally love TVXQ! "Truth" (a more recent one) their vocals are amazing. i love their more r&b funky songs

I have listened to this song thousands and thousands of times. I became a K-Pop fan in 2008 or early 2009, so I still remember when this song came out. But I actually never wondered of its meaning. Now I see it and I have a theory from a psychological (Jungian) perspective. I think that the female here represents the anima archetype, the unconscious feminine self of every man. (There's lots of anima figures in almost every fiction, mythology and even religion). Anima looks dangerous and tempting to the man whose personality is based solely on rationality, since anima itself is the irrational. If a man is the order, an anima (or a woman) is the chaos. It's chaotic, but for a man it's like his own reflection in the mirror. Mirror + chaotic = MIROTIC. The figure is literally "under their skin". So you are pretty accurate by saying "Or maybe she went up inside of them". The anima makes a man to break the rules of the ordinary to seek for extraordinary. Once a man is united with his anima (in analytical psychology we sometimes call it "marriage" or "conjunction"), this man overcomes his metamorphosis. (I think it's even mentioned in the lyrics) It's his individual development. Anima figure often appears in your dreams. So if either of you ever saw a dream with an unknown woman that you were kinda attracted to, it's your anima figure. (I do dream analysis, btw :D) Sometimes it's a projection, so it takes a form of someone you know in real life (for example, your significant other). With this song, that would be an analysis from a male perspective. If we analyzed this song from a female perspective, we would identify ourselves with the woman in the music video, while the members would represent our animus (woman's unconscious masculine self).
Changmin, whose stage name is Max recently released Chocolate, while U=Know did just a cinematic work of Art with Thank U in which he portrays a gangster.
and now we got their dongsaengs nct singing one hoe-anthem after another 😂😭💚

A timeless classic no question.
That song is a cover itself
The original is from the German singer Sarah Connor
She sucks tho
@@cloudx15x it can't be considered cover if the buy the rights to it ...
Mirotic is a legend👍 u should react more to TVXQ
Yeah
So the members of JYJ are more known as actors and producers than they are as singers now.)
However, Max/Changmin and U-Know/Yunho continued as TVXQ as a duo.
Its one of the things he is most known for.)
Like U-Know has said before, he and Changmin have lived together for so long that they know each other like an old married couple.
Wow interesting! I knew that Yuta wanted to be an idol because of them, but I didn't know the whole history. Thanks!
Also Jaejoong has a hella amazing solo career

This TVXQ video is a classic. No doubt one of my favorites.
Tvxq the real kings of kpop
More like the gods of kpop
Kings* u don’t have to say real and be ignorant
@@lainamiro976 lol no Just bcz some New group their fans always calls them kings of kpop and other bullshit
@@rouaace5936 ok and? it’s their opinion
I love it when people go back to OG's and learn about how the industry and music has changed. TVXQ are truely legends!!!
Who else singing the fan chant with me? 😂😂
My daughters and me !!! 😆😆😆
The fanchant is part of the song already, it's not possible to not sing it after you listen to it once or twice . 😂
finally some older kpop!!
Y’all should do a throwback Thursday so you can get that classic kpop hits
thanks for reacting to TVXQ's MIROTIC!
U-know Yunho's solo work include: Champagne, Drop, Follow, Thank U, Loco, and Eeny Meany (honestly, you guys should check out U-know's latest EP cause the entire album is amazing!)
"MIROTIC" is actually an invented word.
TVXQ where the game changers of their ERA..
This song has been on my playlist for over a decade and I still can't get tired of it. Truly iconic
Yesss, they were the ones that introduced me into kpop! This song is iconic
They introduced me too 😌❤️
My first kpop boy group! Thank you for reacting to TVXQ!! Even way back then Max's vocals were very powerful I love it
Yes TVXQ! They are kpop legends for sure and their discography is crazy. There are only two members currently in the group (Changmin and Yunho) and both have amazing solo music as well that I hope you check out. TVXQ spellbound is one of the best kpop songs I've ever heard
DBSK/TVXQ/Tohoshinki debuted in 2003..ages 16-19yrs.
They are the king of 2nd generation of Kpop.I miss them.😭😭😭
Iconic KPop legends.
MIROTIC IS ICONIC AND LEGENDARY 💗💗💗
OMGG?? AM I SEEING THIS RIGHT? MIROTIC?? I DIDNT EVEN DREAM FOR THIS TO HAPPEN. THANK YOUUU 😭😭😭
TVXQ known for their vocals n visuals. Each member have distinct vocals. SM really messed up for making 3 members left.
I literally can’t believe that y’all reacted to this crazy old ass song 😆🤠🤠
I am so proud about this K-pop journey🤧🤧🤧
Oh wow!!! You reacted to the LEGENDS DBSK/ TVXQ!!!
They were THE KPOP KINGS who paved the way outside Korea, especially in Japan alongside with BOA.
They are from SM, the vocal powerhouse, so yeah, vocals!! Only 2 members left now in the group but yeah, they are still very popular. Good actors too.
I love his voice.
fr, I listened to this song long time ago but the adlibs towards the end still give me chills. It's crazy to think how great their voices are
You may also like Changmin; SM All That Love; also from his album Piano; Lies
Its hard not sing along to this as I watch it with you guys 😂
This is one of the first KPOP songs I never heard back in 2009.
I had just left of to college and had gotten into Korean music and dramas coming from anime, JROCK, and Japanese dramas
Tvxq "keep your head down"
Your welcome
actually Mirotic cameout in 2008 😁
thank you so much for reacting their work 💕💕💕
TVXQ are icons they are one of SM older grp. SM have some of the most LEGENDARY Grps in Kpop💕💕💕
TVXQ nowadays only has two memebers left since 2010
I love them and their voices so much
i'm so happy you started to expand to Second Gen Groups and TVXQ is one of the best out there.
3 of the members did leave the group( Yoochun, Junsu and Jaejoong) so the group only consist of two members now ( Yunho(or U-Know) and Changmin( or Max Changmin)) they have been around for about 18years and they are still going strong. Here is some songs I recommend.
TVXQ:
Spellbound, Something, The Chance of Love and VIVA( this is a B-Side tracks so doesn't have a MV but it one of my top favorite songs).
Solo songs by the members
U-Know :
Thank U( came out in late Jan of this year), Follow and Drop
Changmin or Max Changmin
Chocolate( is his song) and All that Love
IF you want to check the other three that left the group any of their work here is a few songs i recommend from them
JYJ(The group they formed when they left TVXQ)
Mission and Letting Go neither songs have MV but they are my favorites by them
Solo songs by the members
Junsu(Xia his is stage name so a lot of songs are listed under that):
Tarantallegra, Rock the World Ft. The Quiett and Automatic and Flower ft. Tablo(Epik High)
Park Yoochun:
Slow Dance
Kim Jaejoong:
Mine
Fucking iconic! This also has to be one of the most covered Kpop songs ever
This song makes me goosebumps seriously!! TVXQ! They’re really awesome like be the GOD OF KPOP in 2000’s. Mirotic is the most well known of kpop fandom, almost of all can singing this fan chant at the same time without making an appointment.
넌나를 원해 (원해!)
넌네게 빠져 (빠져!) 🥰
Even the fan chant is iconic ! You can't help but sing it ! Even my daughters who have heard the live version just few times were singing the fan chant ! 😄
TVXQ DBSK were once a group of five members. 3 of the members Junsu, Jaejoong and Yoo Chun left the label SM and became JYJ, while
Continued. While the other two members Yunho and Changmin remained as TVXQ. It's a sad story as these five guys together were super talented. You should also check out the groups individually but it seems because of some scandals JYJ may no longer be a group. Check out TVXQ Spellbound, a song I recommended before. Junsu and Jaejoong also have solo projects.
omg this was so great. I remember when this song came out and I watched this video 1000 times. Great video!
Lovin' TVXQ!!! Old school & still movin'!!
TVXQ is an amazing group
Yall should react to "Love in the Ice" stage and "Wrong Number"
Yeeesssssssss finally!!!! you probably won't like them because that song is old style Kpop. But don't put them aside, you must watch more of their MV's please! after a while they separated and TVXQ! is formed by U-KNOW and MAX, both also have great solo stuff!!!!
@@gabrob738 Yes!! they are amazing!!! but some reactors dont tend to enjoy old style kpop songs... but i do!!!! 🤗
omg you reacted to the absolute KINGS of kpop and this song goes down in history i swear
Tha GODS of ASIA , TVXQ were really HUGEEE in ASIA, u don't even know how this LEGENDARY group is, they influence soooo much IDOLS till now
Mirotic is an iconic song in KPOP industry
TVXQ!
Obsessed.
This is a kpop-classic, and TVXQ for sure as well, amazong singers, dancers and performers!!!😍😍👌🏾
I would recommend TVXQ-Spellbound, one of the best jazz genre song from them.
You guys want to watch they singing in stage. It's speechless.
You are witnessing legends my dudes
Classic they are legendary 🙌
Legends of kpop for sure!
wait why your voices sound so soothing and calm
Yeah... kpop wasn’t really doing eng captions (especially SM) heavy until like mid-2018 lol.
Lol I've been binge listening to almost all of your reactions and I've been on it for definitively more than 3 days🤣
The song mirotic is actually from like 2003. It was released on TH-cam for the international audiences to see in 2009.
I love seeing people react to TVXQ - this is the song that got me into kpop in 2009. It blew me away and I never looked back! Still love this song!
U-know Yunho and Max Changmin the current members are IT in Asia, SUPER famous still, looked up to by pretty much all idols. Yunho is known for being super passionate and hardworking and is one of the directors at SM Entertainment and Taeyong names him as one of his role models.
2009 feels just like yesterday 😐
Mirotic is always be the iconic legend song from the legend "god of kpop" TVXQ..even I listen this song for 13 years I never got boring..."I got youu under my skin" will be the iconic lyric forever
Such a classic 😍
TVXQ "Closer" (Max Changmin Solo) is my favorite from them.
The kings!!! TVXQ, the Gods from the East.
They are still super iconic. They’re the royals of kpop
Oohhh old kpop rocks
omg! yes 😭I've been waiting for this reaction. Long time fan of them. I know it's an older music video etc, but man the talent. These guys were the best group around as 5. Seriously considered gods of kpop (or kings as well). No groups came close to their popularity during their time until the 2009 lawsuit and members leaving :(
YEEES, classic kpop is the best (my opinion)
TVXQ is the first group that I stan and brought me into kpop around 2007-2008.
Of course there were Boa and JTL - My Lecon which so iconic before but TVXQ song sounds different at that time, so trendy, experimental but acceptable (at least for my ears)
You gotta try Rising Sun and their acapella compilation
Each members can sing, dance, and rap well
They're still active both in Japan and South Korea. But due internal issue, they're split and only 2 members under name TVXQ
If you react to TVXQ champagne, you'll find fetus nct maknae jisung there when he was 12
Favorite song!!!
Tvxq is still making music. They’re known for their jazzy music. If you could react to more of TVXQ, that would be amazing.
WHEN IT COMES ON TVXQ, YOU NEED TO REACT TO THEIR LIVE PERFORMANCES!!
Next, please react to TVXQ - The Chance of Love
I'm sooo shocked you reacted to my first kpop group that have nothing to say
just appreciate it
THANK YOU
Really really tanx for this reaction!!!!
This was my jam back in the day and it still is. The band is now a duo but still lit. Some have had personal troubles bit the song is still a classic
Check out TVXQ -Sooner or Later. It's such a nice song and features The Quiett who's an OG rapper
Yassss I never get sick of that song!!
Finally Mirotic 😍 you just can also react to TVXQ's Leader U-Know Yunho's THANK U .
