I have the old boxes as well, but as the value of cards go up and cons are now a thing again, it just makes more sense to have some better protection for home and to travel with. Thanks again for your input!
I buy a bunch of hard foam "pool noodles" from the dollar store each year and cut them up in different sizes to hold cards in the cardboard boxes that aren't full. That would work well in these too.
@cryptonite8495 back when I filmed the video in 2022 I didn’t have any SGC slabs to demonstrate with. However, my understanding is they updated some of the line to mention what they accommodate. Happy to try and measure for you if you want to know
So i now have a total of 3 cases from them and I haven’t not noticed any type of smell associated with the product. I have had that issue with more of the pluck and pick products but not with this denser type foam.
@@The1284 I just got one of these and mine has a strong rubber smell. I tried googling it to see if anyone else had experienced that and found your video/post. Yours didn't have any rubber smell at all?
I don’t remember mine having that. I bought mine at Megacon so mine wasn’t shipped (not sure if that makes a difference). I would reach out to customer service if it’s really bad. My only thought is to leave it open for 24 hours and see if the smell resolves. I’m sorry to hear this.
So given that CGC grading card slabs are about the same size as PSA, i would say that you will fit about 32 slabs each row comfortably. Keep in mind my slabs are sleeved as well.
I was looking to purchase one 2R Zion case, but i wanted watch a review and found your video. Now I know want it for sure. Thanks man.
So glad it helped. I have a couple of cases and they have been great. I really think they make a nice product. Good luck with your purchase.
Great looking case, I usually put my cards in a box, but this case looks sweet. Thanks for the show. Enjoy your weekend. 👍✌️

That’s a pretty ingenious idea.
Hey would you know if this case can fit psa cards that are in graded guard cases ?
Well PSA cards in sleeves is a tight fit. Thus, anything thicker than a plastic sleeve is going to be a really tough fit.
Stupid question from a noob, do BGS slabs fit ok? They seem to be slightly larger in all directions
Thanks for the comment. Yes BGS slabs do fit in these. If you want to see a pic, send me a message on Instagram and I can show you. Hope that helps.
Hey not sure if you’ll see this, sgc for whatever reason makes huge slabs can this case fit them? Specifically a thick sgc slab
Of course I will see it. SGC will fit but it’s super tight. Beckett works as well but it will hold much less due to thickness
@@The1284 yea man sure what’s your ig
Also thanks for responding so fast I didn’t even think you’d see this 😂
The1284comics happy to send some pics
@@The1284 This would have been a good point to mention in the review. SGC is the second most prevalent slab for sports cards.

Does this thick foam have a chemical smell ?
