Walaikum Salaam brother, there is no issue, nothing was your fault. Many of the sahaba and Awliya had imperfect families from the time of Jahaliyya and afterwards also. We must love our parents regardless but in our spiritual path our Shuyookh all the way to Sayyidina Abu Bakr as Sideeq and Rasool Allah ص we regard as our spiritual parents and grandparents InshAllah and so there is no problem for us by the Mercy and Grace of Allah, Alhumdullilah
