In the second photo: would using the sky selection (+ brush the house and maybe the side of the cliff) and change the colour from there not be a better alternative to avoid changing the colour of the water?
The midtones trick is a very good tip!

Wow, amazing video sir. I've always wondered how to do exactly what you showed in the video with my sunsets. I've used the masking tool and made a radial gradient to try and warm up the sky some around the sun but that's a very limited solution since you can only warm up or cool down the selection or add green or magenta. What you showed is far more powerful and natural looking than what I've been doing. Now I'm going to have to go back and re-edit a lot of my old photos and see how much better I can make them with the steps you showed today.

Duo Mode - I like to do color work with both Color Mixer and Color Grading open at the same time. In Solo mode, with one panel open, just Ctrl+Click on the disclosure arrow of the second panel to have both panels open.

Hi Mark, I took an class to explore my z8 when it came out. The instructor, a decently famous street photographer, answered a bunch of my questions and kind of made it a point to say that when I'm camera, have the histogram to be as far right without being blown out. However, like you, I kind of prefer the look and highlights when I underexpose. Can you answer why you do it that way. It's it just a preference, or do you have a specific reason? Thank you for your awesome video

This maybe a basic question but one I have not seen anyone walk through how they upload and store their photos. If you have a video that does please send me the link. I have an IMac and when you upload your phones whether its from a camera or your phone on an IMac it automatically puts your photos in IPhoto. How do you upload your photos to an IMac? Do you use IPhoto to catalog and store your photos and then import the photos you want to lightroom or do you upload all of your photos to lightroom and store / catalog them there?

Hi Mark, and actually, anyone that might be able to help me in the comments? This is absolutely doing my head in, but I cannot see that small square in the Color Grading panel at all. The square to pick the colour dropper etc. It's simply just not in my version of ACR/Lightroom. Is there something you have to do in set-up or something to get it there?
As suggested above, I don't actually use Lightrooom and do everything in Adobe Camera Raw instead, which I believe is almost identical? But to be sure, I opened up Lightroom just to check, and it wasn't there either. Unless, lightbulb moment just occurred... is it only available in Lightroom Classic, which I don't actually even have installed?
Is that it? And if it is, why is it only available there, but not in ACR, or even Lightroom (non-Classic)?
This tool would be a game-changer for me as I don't use it otherwise, but definitely would if I could actively select actual colours from the photo.
    Thanks for any help!!!
