His mother is a actor to love in every performance I've been privileged to see her in. This one is no exception. Deza's friend is a charmer. His level of honesty, understanding and caring is so heartwarming. Festus (who thought of that god-awful name?)is so lucky to have him as a friend.Imagine, forgetting your wife's birthday, and then buying her a used personal item for a make-up gift....Then there is "Ken", truly a caring and kind human being who took it upon himself to make better the lives of struggling couple. What a most excellent person and man. This story will hold your rapt attention from beginning to end. Bravo to the writer, director, crew, and the superb actors. Yes.
This movie is moving...struck a cord so deep... edutainment at its finest! Thank Ruth for shining a spotlight on issues we often grapple with in our everyday lives. This topic has been handled with such sensitivity and introspection... In particular, tracing a problem back to a possible root cause; disrupting current social norms that creates little space for men to be vulnerable - these are important life lessons sorely needed.
