Or I still have to wipe the magic keyboard to put the skin on even though it’s literally new out the box? Jw sorry if it seems like a dumb question brother hehe

First off, I really enjoy your channel and the content you produce. Top notch.
Secondly, I had a horrible experience with this exact product. If you plan on keeping it on forever, perfect. If you ever want to remove it, hope for the best but prepare for the worst. It took me nearly 2 hours to get all the sticky off the Magic Keyboard case when I decided to remove the skin. I had to use Goo Gone, alcohol, other cleaners and it was a disaster. Finally got it all off but it was brutal. Thought it would ruin the case but somehow it survived. Such a mess. I had the skin on for about a month with light use and left nearly all the adhesive on the case.

Does anyone know if they have a color that matches the actual color of the Magic KB? In looking at the website, it does not appear so. The native color of the MKB is kind of a blue grey color. I have the leather version of the skin and it is jet black. As a result, the areas that are not covered by the skin stand out. The black and blue grey do not really blend (like wearing a black tie with a not so black shirt). It would be great if it my leather skin matched perfectly with the native surface of the MKB so the places that do not have skin do not look like they do not have the skin. Perhaps I should have gone with a completely offset color like red. Oh well. Live and learn.

I used water, rubbing alcohol, and some goo-gone. It came off eventually but it took time. I had the same one you used and got a new one from the same company but got one that is more like metal. Love both of them. I put the first one on kind of crooked. It might also be my technique to install them. I use soapy water so I can slide it around then dry it with a blow dryer.

Jerry Schulze for about a month. I always use the soapy water for installing skins, except the one i had to replace. I use to see them come by my business to install decals and they always did it so I figured it would be the same.

    I came across.
    th-cam.com/video/qsvzzb3tj1I/w-d-xo.html

Hi! I never really used dbrand as they are in the US I believe, but I had skins from EasySKinz on my magic keyboard and never ever had an issue. The longest I kept a skin on it was over a year and left not a single mark. Dbrand will probably be same, I can't say as I never used them. For me EasySkinz is the better option as I'm the UK as them, so shipping is faster and cheaper. never heard anything bad for both companies.
