I found out yesterday that you can still get the twin mag smg by killing the NPCs at the trailer park south of rumble ruins and at the launchpad building south of brutal bastion.
strangely i’ve started using the combat more starting just yesterday, good to know there’s a reason for that. also i loved the breakdown you did at the end where we could see the other player too!! i would watch a whole video of play through and analysis after
Unsure if people know about this or its just me, once you start spraying with the combat smg, just aim straight down and then aim up, you get 0 recoil, try it out and let me know. Just aim all the way down and then look up, and you get no recoil at all.
I’m glad you brought this up because I noticed myself on Xbox that the combat had fuck all aim assist. It’s hip fire was like trying to control a fire hose so I stopped using it completely.
Yeah because everyone wouldn't stop complaining about the explosive repeater rifle, now Epic's probably gonna nerf it into the ground as the season goes on.

I’ve actually grown a strange love for the submachine, she I’ll run flapjack in team modes… but I’ll probably make this switch for zero build solos. Great catch on the update!
This is one of my favorite guns, I know people may not like my opinion as it’s one of the best spray weapons. But I just have so much fun using it as it’s somewhat challenging but satisfying. Also I’m a kbm player and been running it nearly every game
Good tutorial at the end! Not sure how much repeater ammo he had--not sure if you can tell that, but I have had that where I have to be conservative because I am low and even run out in some games. Other games like my last win I had full ammo so going full on with it is no problem. Either way, good lesson! Tha ks for all you do!
I took a week or so off and came back, was left no choice but to use it on a drop, I instantly noticed a change. Feels great now, definitely a noticeable difference from the og combat smg, but still nice.
I think this change did boost the combat smg in my mind. The recoil is not a turn off for me. Unlike my friend who says she will forever hate the Combat SMG and will never learn how to fight the recoil. Despite the fact she loves the MK Alpha. But it is what it is. But I will run the Combat SMG if I don't find the explosive reaper.
@@josephmother2659 what do you mean by that? All of the pistols that are currently in the game -- meaning the tac pistol and the shadow tracker -- are fully automatic (the shadow tracker was recently changed to be full-auto). The full-auto makes it so you don't have to tap fire, and that saves the finger trouble and also makes it so you consistently shoot whenever you get another shot while holding the trigger, so it has the highest DPS when auto-fired
What r u guys talking about I lasered and knocked a guy out of the air with the combat smg back when the zero build cash cups were happening. The combat smg when aiming down basically has no recoil whatsoever on controller. But when I went back on keyboard it was way harder to control. Low-key I might have to switch to controller this season.
i still wisb they fixed the issue where you cant move your reticle down when shooting at an enemy with a mk alpha even if you have high sens and have your analog stick literally all the way down

@@isaibustillos7293 not really.. the combat SMG seems to do more DMG because it has a faster fire rate, but the flapjack will do almost the same amount of damage with a slower fire rate, the combat can do more DMG if you hit headshots, but in a close range while hipfiring its rare to hit headshots.
This is actually crazy, because I was thinking of using smgs more because the amount of times I get their augments compared to others.

I noticed it while tracking someone who was jumping. Been aim training with it since the season started.

I noticed the difference immediately! I also think the splash from the repeater changed. maybe it's just me
To me it seems that it has less splash damage and a longer reload

I'm surprised to hear the flapjack has strong aim assist. It's the weapon I hit least with at medium/long range
To help spam fire while shooting throw you crosshair down and to the left fast then go back to where you were shooting. It will help medium beams.
