Will Wes ever figure out how to do the magic snap to unpackage items??.. Or will Laurel continue to dominate (Oh Snap!) ..Stay tuned kids to possibly find out, on another Blockhead Episode!
The sound is greatly improved. But... Why didn't you port the rear exhaust manifold and why didn't you try heating up the tube ends on the muffler in an oven or BBQ?
@@automandan most stock bikes do, however the Bolt is basically a Sportster minus all the shitty parts, which is basically the entire bike! 🤣. Yamahas will run into the planet stops spinning.
Blockhead its been a minute since i watched your videos but you are the reason i got started on motorcycles I bought my first bike ( 2019 streetbob) because of a review video you did and I've never looked back. I learned how to ride using your videos and I just wanted to thank you for introducing me to this wonderful world and brotherhood
This is my first time watching a BLOCKHEAD video, and this man just got a subscription due to the "My New Haircut" reference. Thanks for bringing me back 15 years. lol!
Your content is gettin me through my withdrawal from two wheels, bikes been in the shop since november and not to mention PA winter 🥶 Thanks Block and Crew for the fantastic videos!
I was so tempted to have a Bolt as a first bike but I'm thinking a Scout Bobber now. Also I like when Block does his accents. The Jersey one is pretty spot on haha.
Wish I had discovered your channel back when the giveaway for those 3 bikes was going on. All 3 are what I am currently looking at for my first purchase.
Fun thing with the best sounding pipes for a heavyweight Indian, the TAB Performance BAM Sticks. The Zombie Baffle isn't actually a baffle. It's basically the same diameter as the head pipes with no venting into the 4.5" slip on.
Not sure if this has been talked about but you need “Ivan’s flash”! Especially if you’re going for a performance intake as well. I own a bolt and the Ivan’s ECU flash completely changes the bike and it’s throttle application, plus it fully utilizes the power available.
Sounds fricking awesome. Don’t know if it was the camera angle but the bike looks tiny 🤣. Looks like you guys had a good laugh working in that. Great vlog as always bro 👌🏾👌🏾
Curious how you "belled" the exhaust. Also, what does tbr have to say about it? Looking forward to the first ride, and tuning results for this and the Scout
@Louie Pacheco Yessir. Apparently, they were experiencing material shortages, which I understand. I work in the construction industry and the pandemic really messed with imports, but there's been absolutely no effort on their end to keep me posted. I've contacted them every time for status updates.
@Louie Pacheco I'd give them a call. They just got a shipment of material so apparently they're fulfilling a bunch of back orders right now. Also, shop around their suppliers. I ended up cancelling my order with them and reordering from 58Cycle who sells it for like $200 less, at the advice of the TBR customer service rep.
Loved to see this vid from a fellow bolt owner who’s after market exhaust came with the moto, compared to the Vance&Hines exhaust I think the TBR exhaust is more ‘sporty’, as in more high pitch and explosive, while the V&H has more of an (equally loud) rumble rumble sound, both seem hella loud too
If only the exhaust was black it would look so much better but damn that sounds mean! Been looking for a new exhaust for my bolt and this impressive. Great video!🤘
Hey Block, love your vids...been watching from the beginning. Looking forward to learning how to ride once able. Just curious, would you consider making a video showing the everyday stuff....what to store on a bike and why...once destination is reached, how to lock up a helmet (maybe not yours,ha) and jacket. Appreciate you!!✌
Looks and sounds good, but someone at TBR dropped the ball by not checking the fit before packaging. They definitely look like they make a nice product.
Right on. Sounds so much better...When you started it up with stock pipes, I was wondering,"Who in the hell puts a Murray lawnmower motor in a Yamaha?"
Sounds better with TBR. Let Wes know it's OK the performance thing happens to guys, so I hear. lol Enjoyed the video. Blockhead you are blessed. Good friends and good times. Hooah
I ended up going with the Vance and Hines slip on for my bolt but damn I wanted the 2BR. I do wish they made a turn out just like your other bike for the bolt.
Shout out from Monroe Michigan I just bought one of your Evo diagram T shirts Can't Wait to get out and ride my 2020 48 sportster its 29° Here in Monroe Michigan 🥶
I'm also curious what, if anything, TBR said about the exhaust fitment. There aren't many good looking exhausts for the Bolt IMO. That one isn't bad, I'm interested in the Cobra slip-on for the price point and looks.
Nice sound! Was pretty cringe when the headers where tightened with the impact 😬. You want equal pressure and it to be as square with the cylinder flange as possible. They could bust off in the head over time if they are Over tightened.
Not even so much the tightening. From the video, one would assume they INSTALLED the hardware with the same electric impact. I can't really think of a better way to cross-thread fasteners.
i do have a question. Why do yall have to jump your bikes so much? I have had a couple of bikes and I've left two sitting for a whole year and they started up immediately after and oil change and fresh gas
Can I buy the original yamaha bolt exhaust bracket as my bike has need to go back over pits to rerego please or perhaps an online web site that I can buy one thanks
My wirebrush literally has a candle holder as well as a lightbulb mount, being 20+ years old, although I believe the candle mount was a joke added by my grandpa
Don't do the dynojet, get ahold of Ivan's Performance and get his tune instead. A complete world of difference, and a far better running machine than any dynojet product will get you.
What do you all think of the sound before and after?! Post a comment, let us know your thoughts!
Sounds great! You should get a dean speed customs sissy bar for it Looks great on mine.
Will Wes ever figure out how to do the magic snap to unpackage items??.. Or will Laurel continue to dominate (Oh Snap!) ..Stay tuned kids to possibly find out, on another Blockhead Episode!
way betterer ... ;)
The sound is greatly improved. But... Why didn't you port the rear exhaust manifold and why didn't you try heating up the tube ends on the muffler in an oven or BBQ?
Hey Block you need to hit me up bro, we need to have a personal convo please kind sir!!...
Hey, don’t write off the bolt... Cassidy loves em! 😂
Yamaha bolt 🤢🤢🤮🤮😵😵😱😱. No thanks. That stock exhaust sounds horrible. It sounds like a souped up moped.
@@automandan I put Bassini Sweepers on my Bolt. Sounds like the gates of Hell just opened up 👌😆
@@automandan most stock bikes do, however the Bolt is basically a Sportster minus all the shitty parts, which is basically the entire bike! 🤣. Yamahas will run into the planet stops spinning.
And out of nowhere shadetree buys a bolt.

The TBR sounds real Noice. Looks pretty dang good too.

Tbr is always quality been running them on my street bikes and dirt bikes since way back...they sound nice always loved their 2-1 exhausts
Honestly, if Yamaha added a sixth gear and gas gauge to this thing, they would start to really hammer on Iron 883 sales.
Good bud!
This content makes people want different kinds of cruisers. Go blockhead go!¡
Damn, that does sound a lot better! Great job TBR
Wow, was that impressive sound for a metric bike. I enjoy Wes & Laurel they are a down to earth couple & I follow them both on the Instagram.

My first three bikes were Yamahas so I always have a soft spot for that brand
Sounds fricking awesome. Don’t know if it was the camera angle but the bike looks tiny 🤣. Looks like you guys had a good laugh working in that. Great vlog as always bro 👌🏾👌🏾
Hot Rod Jen (pinstripe artist) has a KILLER Frankenstein sticker that would look dope on the Yamaha, because as we all know ol' Frankie digs the bolts
It’s always fun having wess and yannie on the channel !
Curious how you "belled" the exhaust. Also, what does tbr have to say about it? Looking forward to the first ride, and tuning results for this and the Scout
Also wondering what TBR had to say
Cool Video ! the new exhaust sounds much better than stock !
Saving up for this exhaust right now. I can’t wait
Ordered mine on 10/31/22. Still don't have it.
@Louie Pacheco Yessir. Apparently, they were experiencing material shortages, which I understand. I work in the construction industry and the pandemic really messed with imports, but there's been absolutely no effort on their end to keep me posted. I've contacted them every time for status updates.

@Louie Pacheco Finally got it! And, holy shit this thing is loud! Worth the wait. These videos do the sound ZERO justice. It f*ckin BARKS!
Thinking about picking up a new Bolt this spring. Had a Grom for the past 3 years, but I need something with more power at this point haha
Sounds INSANE!!🤘🏾
Loved to see this vid from a fellow bolt owner who’s after market exhaust came with the moto, compared to the Vance&Hines exhaust I think the TBR exhaust is more ‘sporty’, as in more high pitch and explosive, while the V&H has more of an (equally loud) rumble rumble sound, both seem hella loud too
Surprised how good it sounds!!
That is making that bolt sound VERY nice.
Wow! That's a big difference! Sounds great!
If only the exhaust was black it would look so much better but damn that sounds mean! Been looking for a new exhaust for my bolt and this impressive. Great video!🤘
FRIGGIN BadAss! One thing though, probably should have used antiseize on the flange bolts/studs, my opinion anyway
No Bueno ! It may sound better outside .... but I doubt it ! But I enjoy install videos ... so THX for that!
Hey Block, love your vids...been watching from the beginning. Looking forward to learning how to ride once able. it would be cool to see you work on a couple shadows or vulcans next seasons
Yaaaay another bolt video!
Great sound! We need more loud Y-Bolts on the roads (so that us Harley owners don't get all the blame for the noise!).
Wow! That sounds damn good! TBR did a good job on that exhaust.
It sounds much better, can you do some more random fun rides while talking about a topic plz, also I love the vids
The bolt is a great ride. And Cassidy approved lol lol
Sucks you had them a fitment issue . But it does sound sweet!! Nice video!!
Impressed with after sound. Before sounded like a lawnmower.
Sounds pretty sick man
Wes and Yanny in the garage!
Sounds better with TBR.
Let Wes know it's OK the performance thing happens to guys, so I hear. lol
Enjoyed the video.
Blockhead you are blessed. Good friends and good times.
Hooah
Didn’t think I would like this bike but damn I like it!
Very nice bike, I like yamaha bolt, very relax for ride
I'm so glad I went and watched the jaeger bombs video in full
My new haircut is a CLASSIC 🤣
That sounds ANGRY as hell 😈👏🏾
That sounds badass and loud an I was thinking you should take the baffle out 😂😂
Sounds way better.
Tbr has such a big difference!
Finally the bolt!!!
Bolt out performs the 883 in every aspect.
Your bench grinders new name is Oscar, because it sounds angry lol
I ended up going with the Vance and Hines slip on for my bolt but damn I wanted the 2BR. I do wish they made a turn out just like your other bike for the bolt.
Huge difference
Shout out from Monroe Michigan I just bought one of your Evo diagram T shirts Can't Wait to get out and ride my 2020 48 sportster its 29° Here in Monroe Michigan 🥶
By the way the bike sounds amazing after the new aftermarket pipes
"MA!!! THE PROTEIN!!!" 😂😂😂
This is my new haircut... chicks dig my new haircut lol
Did you contact TBR and ask about why the exhaust did not mate. just curious. sounds good.
I'm also curious what, if anything, TBR said about the exhaust fitment. There aren't many good looking exhausts for the Bolt IMO. That one isn't bad, I'm interested in the Cobra slip-on for the price point and looks.
noob question...but don't you need to change the air filter and reprogram the EFI?
Quick question... what if the person training you to ride a motorcycle is pushing you to get a Harley but you want a honda rebel? What do I do?
Two Bros., They make awesome pipes. I run them.
wow. sounds way better.
Do you edit the iphone pictures you take at all? They always seem to turn out so good! Would love a video on how you take iphone photos of the bikes
Sounds great!
Sounds so damn good
was hoping you'd go with the bassani street sweeper exhaust
Sounds FN Good!!
Nice sound! Was pretty cringe when the headers where tightened with the impact 😬.

i do have a question. Why do yall have to jump your bikes so much?
I have had a couple of bikes and I've left two sitting for a whole year and they started up immediately after and oil change and fresh gas
I’d like it with a low brrrooommming sound!
All the Exhaust seem to be" out of stock " Forever ?
Is that the harbor freight bike lift? Always been curious about those
Where did you get all your tool boxes and work bench’s from?
Can I buy the original yamaha bolt exhaust bracket as my bike has need to go back over pits to rerego please or perhaps an online web site that I can buy one thanks
Okay but whats the actual lift you used for the bike?
My new haircut is a TH-cam classic! 😂
Nice :D like the Bolt
Hi block nice stuff.💯😎👋👍
the bolt looks better and sounds better
I was like 👍 667 you’re welcome hahaha
3am and 147 people have watched this before me. At least I'm not the only insomniac
It was 10 o clock in central europe when it uploaded, so probably some views from here :p
When is the giveaway going to end?
How much it cost Yamaha Bold in USA? 2021
yoshi pipes sound better then even the V&H imo i like the stock headers with no can better then that two bros lol
I must say I would likely a straight pipe version.
Blochhead check out the indian scout on traveling talls channel! Thi g is pretty sweet!
Your secrecy and anonymity has taken on a life of it’s own. I saw the thumbnail from “Her two wheels” and tried to see through your face shield.
My wirebrush literally has a candle holder as well as a lightbulb mount, being 20+ years old, although I believe the candle mount was a joke added by my grandpa
That sounds just like a harley 😂
like damn it sounds awesome I’m soo surprised 🤘
Don't do the dynojet, get ahold of Ivan's Performance and get his tune instead. A complete world of difference, and a far better running machine than any dynojet product will get you.
Replace the motor with a Yamaha Nytro motor!! Yeah!!
Take a shot every time they say "bolt"
Got a Bassani 2-1 on my bolt, things louder than my buddies fat bob haha
Every time you snap your fingers I think of Men on Film from In Living Color with their two snaps up.
Friggin lifetime ago. I'm 42 now and remember watching that show in 6th grade, it was my favorite show then.
I’d have been furious with the non-fit and sent it back. Does TBR expect you to have a pipe flange at the ready? Wtf
