I am happy connecting with this magical group of boys now men. Alongside Raskimo, Maxwell Udoh, Majek Fashek, Orits Wiliki, Daniel Wilson, Blacky and few others, The New Waves made my day in late '80s and early '90s. It was the best era of Nigerian reggae.
No doubts there are many talented youth musicians but these guys were extraordinary. No musical youth will ever match their experience and knowledge on this planet. I will forever respect and appreciate these guys.
@@calistermadukwe7977 You were there 🤣. Scissors X ✂️ Side by side. Me, if I never reach the extreme end of one conner, the scissors✂️ no complete " Crazy boyses anyehyehyeh' 🤣.
Oh my God, I remember this music 1988 upwards, when I and my friends use to night vigil and dance all kinds of reggae music, I don't think life will sweet again like 80s and 90s.
Whenever you do good they will turn it down- great line with lot of sense. I can't stop listening to this song. My best! You guys are genus. I love you guys like crazy.
The Nigerian Musical Youth. I still remember the original video, it was filmed in King Cave's nightclub Aba. These guys should demand royalties from JLS - they stole the coloured t-shirt idea from New Waves.

wow, you guys made magic. Those songs took Nigeria on a storm. I wish the label owner partnered with Premier records which was the biggest label in Nigeria then , the boy would have been much bigger and more successful
